Aww, you uploaded this on Naya’s birthday? 🥹

Unfortunately the “rapture” and “left behind” stuff is an actual thing that is taught. To children. And yeah, it’s absolutely ludicrous. Really messed up.

I agree they shoved too much into the episode - they spend so much time trying to build a theme with the music that they forget we're not wherever they are in their heads with the actual characters. I thought it was quick for Blaine to cheat since Kurt actually just met Rachel a few weeks ago in New York. Not that there is an acceptable time to cheat, but Kurt really hasn't been gone from Ohio long, he was still there in the first episode of the season.

Aw yea that Brittana ship is real

I've never seen this episode before and Brittany and Santana had me crying way too hard I just love them together

Peyton Johnson

oh reallyit was live!

Love this episode. Makes me cry every time. I love how The Scientist is shot with the crane (I'm assuming it's a crane) moving all around the actors. I agree with the comment above. The left behind club story line was ridiculous. Fun fact. Darren Criss sung Teenage Dream live for the scene in the bar.

oh thats so sad

The way Cory plays " being lost Finn" feels like we are seeing how he felt about himself in real life .The mental health and substance abuse struggles he went through. 😢

Ugh this episode still hurts to watch even 11 years later (how the hell has it been 11 years??) It all felt so sudden to me, I could see Blaine making out with a guy in a bar or being tempted but I don't buy him sleeping with another guy that quickly. I wish they'd at least spread that storyline out over a longer time to make it more believable. And yeah, Rachel is so right here, Finn was making decisions about what he assumed he wanted and ghosted her for 6 months, he can't then be mad at her for moving on without speaking to her. From a less critical POV though I guess it really shows how flawed they are as people though, it's sad but it's perfectly feasible that someone would do that :(

yea so sad

Rachel saying “you are my first love, and I want more than anything for you to be my last” always shatters me knowing how it ends between them, I sob every time

i personally like s4! sure the s4-6 run is not the best, and the glory days are behind us, but some fans are way too dramatic. i think the songs are still fire (and maybe better), i love the development of some characters, and it's still funny & dramatic. also, you get to appreciate more the little reunion moments. like our fav characters don't get the opportunity to be together all the time and the reunion episodes/performances are even more important like that :)

Simply put remove the left behind subplot with Kitty and you would have the strongest episode of Glee (my opinion of course). And while characters clearly make mistakes, all of these mistakes are believable. Things that kids (let alone adults) have bene making for a very, very long time. One of my favorite things about this episode is having Santana being the adult and talking about things, when we have scene her cheat before. Because people often say things lIke its about of character for Blaine to cheat, and simply put you never know who will or won't cheat. Sometimes it's literally the last person you expect. And sometimes the first person you expect to cheat is the one who doesn't. I also love that the show continued on ongoing character beats from season three with Blaine's insecurities about Kurt being away (and Kurt not fully addressing those fears and just stating things would be fine). And Finn's continual lack of knowing who he is, and what future he wants for himself. While of course society has for an very long time expected a women's role to be secondary to that of the man (a ludicrous attitude, but one that has been in place for eons), Rachel clearly would take Finn having any role in life he wanted. But Finn simply doesn't know who he wants to be, and can't imagine that anyone would find him of value being a mashup.

Flight time From LA to NY is a bit over 5 hours. Flight time from Ohio to NY is 1 hour 45 minutes.

I just came here to say that the whole break up scene between Santana and Brittany breaks my heart every single time. Naya singing "Mine" never fails to tear me up, but what really shatters my heart is how the scene starts with Santana saying "Sophomore year, I used to sit in this back row and secretly watch you. I'd count the number of times you'd smile at me, and I'd die the days you didn't"... Also I couldn't help giggling when you said you are glad that Santana was so upfront with the truth. I kept thinking "well, buckle up because she keeps looping in and out the rabbit hole all over again." I like the first three seasons, and this is a very unpopular opinion, but from now on is what I like the most. Granted, there are a few storylines here and there that are just...absurd lol, but I really like all the character development they show in S4 and S5.

Hahaha, "go to your room!". That line honestly. Yeah, good writing.... for an actual adult, but Rachel? Fresh from high school thinks she's a while lot of woman 👠. Same energy as when Brittany said "she's seen the world and now knows what she wants" 👶

I have not watched the episode reaction yet, but I know it well. I always LOL when Rachel says “I am a grown woman!” When in fact, canonically, she is 17. I doubt the Glee creators actually bothered to do the math, but she says in season 1 she was born December 18, 1994. Season 4 begins in the fall of 2012, making her almost, but not quite,18. In most American schools, you have to turn 5 before September 1 to start kindergarten, so she’d have started school in the year 2000, so honestly she should have been a senior in season 4 unless she skipped a grade, but when has Glee ever been realistic? Lea Michele was of course an adult and looks like one, Rachel was not. Just makes me chuckle whenever I see it. And now that I’m older when she says that, I’m just like “no you’re not, go to your room!”
