DISENCHANTED WATCH PARTY

I was literally the same way lol, I waited 43 minutes for her to realize it lol. But it was super fun to see her realize it.

Bowler Boy

Haha! Yea it takes time sometimes haha

I'm super far behind on watching this, but I had a really funny moment while watching it. When Emma from Glee first popped up in the scene to greet them, after a few seconds I was like, "She doesn't realize who that is, does she?" A couple minutes later: "Nope, she definitely does not XD" Later on, when I see the look of realization and hear "WAIT! That's..": "THERRRRRRRRRE IT IS! SHE'S FINALLY GOT IT!" XD

SparklezPride

You did! And that was what actually helped ME catch it lol! I had a complete facepalm moment for taking so long to see it. And Sleeping Beauty is my favorite classic Disney Princess movie! Also I totally agree with you that Giselle's red dress was GORGEOUS! I want it as well lol. And I also thought that Morgan's dress at the end was very Cinderella like but I also thought her purple rag dress kinda was too. Like it represented the pink dress Cinderella was originally going to wear to the ball but it got torn to shreds by her stepsisters. It's pretty on the nose if they were going for that but I think it's still a cool parallel and AGAIN I didn't even consider it until you called her blue dress Cinderella-like so thank you for the ah-ha moment lol!

Lady RedShee

I think i caught that right?

I've seen Disenchanted 3 times now (your reaction was the 3rd time) and it literally wasn't until I watched your reaction that I realized that the 3 women that approached Giselle and her family when they first got to their new house in Monroeville were supposed to be a play on of Sleeping Beauty's fairies lol! I feel so blind lol!

Lady RedShee

Yup. That's James Monroe Iglehart from Aladdin on Broadway. And the woman with him (on the train) is Ann Harada who was one of the stepsisters in Cinderella on Broadway. And there are more easter eggs throughout the movie than I could count. Disney has a way of bringing back its own...just like in Enchanted.

It’s my special power

Great watching this with you. While I agree that it's not as good as Enchanted and while the songs aren't brilliant, I still really love Disenchanted. The story is beautiful, I especially love the message that an adopted child is your true child. My granny and papa ran a care home when they were alive and they adopted 7 of the kids from there as well as having 5 kids of their own (including my dad). And all the adopted kids are my aunts and uncles and are just as much a part of our family. 😊 I also LOVED all the references to past Disney movies throughout. Cinderella, Snow White, The Little Mermaid, The Princess And The Frog, Sleeping Beauty etc etc. Watching it with you is my third time watching it and each time I've noticed more little references that have been slipped in there. So clever. 👌 Oh and also they did film in a real place, not on a set. It was filmed in the village of Wicklow in Ireland. 🙂

Audrey I believe u have a bad memory😅they showed us Malvina had magic from the beginning of the wish also did u notice the actor who played morgan in the first film made a cameo also I was stressing until u realized that jayma Mays was in this. Personally I enjoy “even more enchanted” And my fav songs are love power, badder, and even more enchanted, you really should’ve listened to the love power song in the credits

Did anyone else notice the baker (I think it was a baker) in the scene where morgan is going through town. Is actually the original broadway genie?

I was waiting how long it took you to realize that Jayma Mays is in it😂 i was like, "Audrey look at her!!! She's in glee! Its Emma Pillsbury"😂 Also, the Evil Queen always had magic. You could see it at the beginning (of the fairytale part) where she steps out of the carriage and fixes the flowers. But its so quick, it's easy to miss it. I love this movie. Not as much as the first one but its a really good continuation. So obsessed with Badder, it's probably my favorite song in the movie🥰

Danny and I are watching it together tonight :)

In the big group number towards the beginning those rhymes are fire. My favorite is this one, "ladies are dancing you'll hear every man sing." Schwartz was on fire with theses rhymes.

Tyler Mckenzie

This is nice and all but I'm waiting on pitch perfect !!! smh
