DOES IT NEED TO BE MUSICAL?
Added 2022-12-09 02:29:53 +0000 UTCI am trying to figure out what the next TV show I should start doing Watch Parties for, however the options are limited if I choose one that has singing.
** update: I’m looking for an ongoing tv series to take the place of Zoey once that’s done. I’m not looking for a single musical episode in a show. Those are more for song reaction videos for YT.
WOULD YOU BE OK WITH ME DOING WATCH PARTIES FOR A TV SHOW THAT DOESN'T HAVE SINGING?

I also suggest Schmigadoon as a great comedy that has a huge voice cast and is a great parody of the classic Rogers and Hammerstein-style musical.

2023-01-13 03:29:23 +0000 UTCI think Pushing Daisies is a good one. It has a good amount of fantasy and comedy, a balanced amount of singing without being overly cheesy, and of course the impeccable voice talents of Kristin Chenoweth and Ellen Greene.

2022-12-11 06:44:03 +0000 UTCI’m a huge Taylor Swift fan, I’d love to see you watch and react to the Reputation Tour and her documentary, both on Netflix. As well as pitch perfect watch parties.

2022-12-11 06:37:07 +0000 UTCI 100% agree with this. I think you would LOVE Merlin and get really attached to all the characters. The friendship/bromance/possible secret romance between Merlin and Arthur is worth everything.

2022-12-11 05:24:42 +0000 UTCI think you should watch SMASH! It only has 2 seasons, but I think it is pretty great. The premise is basically about the making of a broadway musical. Most of the songs in the show are original and the cast is really great.
