I really feel like they wanted Quinn to be more like Madison from AHS (Coven, Emma Roberts). But I just like her too much to be convinced that she's awful. The song Kurt and Rachel do is from the Wizard of Oz. But it's the jazzed up version. Ella Fitzgerald did a cover of it that I think this was based on. This show was kind of American Idol but with gleeks and they would have to do assignments based on glee motives like singing a Diva song meaning shue assignments. The 3 top first got to have an appearance in the show. 2 And 3 got short appearances and number 1 a whole season or half season. I just watched first and second season so I don't remember who won whats but the girl who sang the ANNIE song was from the first season. I didn't like her that much ajhaj because of her attitude but the others guys who are going to appear later I do.

(Apparently, all the hallway/ bathroom/ locker room fights don’t fall under this policy.)

2022-07-21 00:05:42 +0000 UTCRachel: there's actual proof that she, of her own volition, sent sunshine to a crackhouse (Yes it was inactive but sunshine still got her stuff stolen by the resident populace of homeless/drug addicts); doesn't get punished and has to have a whole woe is me solo at the end of the episode. Santana: allegedly orchestrated the burning of a piano, pressured by her adult superior, yet no proof at all; gets kicked out of glee club without hesitation after mr. Schue spent all that time wrestling over not accepting someone who can't even sing??? Talking about loyalty... Mr. Schue has all the audacity in s3.

2022-07-20 02:04:51 +0000 UTCi always found it kind of weird that santana got kicked out of glee club when 1 she was the only cheerio not to pour gasoline on the piano and 2 quinn was the one to throw the cigarette. like i understand she was a part of it but how would mr schue know especially when all anyone saw her do was dance with blaine around the piano. mostly i'm just sad we didn't get to see her join in on you can't stop the beat and that she isn't part of glee club for a couple episodes but i am biased... anyways this is a great season, looking forward to your future reactions!

My main complaint with S2 was it felt like the writers were taking suggestions on storylines and character direction from internet fan groups and chat rooms as opposed to following the natural trajectory of the individual characters. The writing was lazy. I like that there's less regressive behavior for the characters in S3 by the writing team as they broke away more from copying the S1 formula, which held the characters back in S2. This is the season the characters (for the most part) were allowed to grow and retain their growth. They also fleshed out the characters' stories more with the appearance of parents (I felt like I'd been waiting forever for Rachel's parents to show up, which was frustrating since she's one of the leads). This season also leaned more into the Hummelberry friendship, which I adore. This season also saw more people getting to shine, which is always nice.

As far as there isn't much going on anyway. lol The music is fabulous, I love a lot of the character story lines, and Sugar Motta! I know she's like the Jar Jar Binks of the Glee world, but I think she is hilarious! I admit, she is a love her or hate her though. There is no in between. The way that dog was staring lovingly at you there at the end.... I hope I have someone look at me like that someday. It'll probably also be my dog, but still... haha

2022-07-19 04:56:00 +0000 UTCSeason 3 is my favorite as far as performances, some story lines were a bit iffy, but overall it’s a great season and probably the last great Glee season. There are still great MOMENTS in other seasons but the story lines are hit and miss in Season 4, and after Cory died the “story lines” were a complete mess. Season 6? I don’t know her…except for Uninvited, that cover lives in my head rent free. The series finale was at the very least better than the series finale of Game of Thrones 😂

2022-07-19 03:35:22 +0000 UTCQuinn is experiencing delayed grief (loss of her baby, loss of her family, loss of the Cheerios halfway through the season, losing prom queen and her boyfriend all in succession) it's clear that she could benefit from therapy since everything she rooted her identity in is gone. There's always more than meets the eye with Santana. I think she only pledged allegiance to Sue to appease her and keep her from acting out even harder against the glee club since Sue is basically mirroring Quinn's journey from last season and is grasping at being elected in order to deal with the loss of her sister. The proof that Santana loves performing is right in front of us. She admitted that it's the best part of her day, she's gotten slushied and ridiculed publicly for being in the glee club, in this episode she gets up and sings and dances on tables and then takes food to the face for her troubles and she even helps Blaine with his audition (love that they put Naya's signature dance in there and that Darren did it too). She had the Cheerios put the lighter fluid on the piano, but ultimately it's Quinn's cigarette that starts the fire. The behind the scenes video about the food fight is awesome. 2022-07-19 02:22:19 +0000 UTCAs a Quinn stan since season 1 aired, this was 100% coming. That poor girl went through so much crap in season 1. Pregnancy, her parents disowning her, her self worth dropping as well as her status within the school, her mom coming back divorced, and giving up a child all as a teenager. Then in season 2, she never REALLY dealt with any of it and just focused on being top bitch and prom queen. She seriously needs therapy, but never got any, and as a result she's spiraling. Funnily enough, I did the same thing as Quinn when I entered my junior year. Chopped off my waist length blonde hair to my shoulders, dyed it a reddish black, was angry at everyone/pushed people away, and only wore black because I was in such an extreme funk. So I totally get it. Sometimes you change everything and not for the better when you're in that dark place. Anyway, on a lighter note, this was the serotonin boost I needed today, and I'm hyped up for you to see this season, it's one of the best, if not THE best out of all the seasons. So many other characters get to shine, finally, and the storylines for a lot of the character really are amazing.

I still love it but not as much as seasons 1, 2 and 4. Season 4 is my favourite season even though no one else agrees with me lol. 🙈 But yeah, I'm excited to keep watching the show with you. Will Danny be joining you for any season 3 episodes? I've been binge watching your season 1 watch parties and he's in all of them. I miss him a bit. 😂💕 (oh and I'm still in love with your dog haha)

Lindsay Pierce, who played Harmony (the girl from the NYADA mixer) won a 2 episode arch on the show. Recently she has had huge success in the theater world. She was Elphaba on Broadway from 2020 (bad timing I know) until earlier this year when she left to do the national tour of Mean Girls as Janis!

She goes completely savage and then turns into an adorable lil dancing bean living her best life. “I have pepperoni in my bra.” “Those are your nipples.” Best lines in the entire episode. Also Santana’s just pointing out that she knows what Britt’s nipples look like to the whole choir room. 🤣

Also crazy how Finn was talking about ball hogging when he’s literally dating Rachel, the ball hogger of the Glee Club. And, we all know that BOTH of them have sung lead one too many times in competitions.

It is personally my favorite season of Glee there are so many good/great episodes and covers this season. Also you were wondering when Naya was going to sing more well in this season Santana sings on the most songs of all the characters. Naya performed on some good/great covers this season some of which you already reacted to others you haven't seen yet but I'm sure you will like/love the covers.

2022-07-19 00:51:51 +0000 UTCThis episode really sets the tone for a lot of the dynamics happening in season 3 like Hummelberry finally having a real friendship. You Can't Stop the Beat is so good too. Also it's just a nice callback to the pilot. Despite season 2 being my favorite season, this season has most of my fav songs from the show. So if you're confused about their ages, I think it's because they made it so ambiguous in season 1. I believe originally they were all juniors, but then changed it in season 2, so that they could make more seasons. As for Quinn, it goes a lot deeper. She's had issues for a long time and based her value on her peers and her social status, and never learned that she was more than her looks. Losing her baby, her boyfriend, her father, and the life she had but didn't want (but believed she should) really hit her hard and this is her way of coping.
