Rocket League - HDR Optimized Settings
Added 2022-04-08 07:27:22 +0000 UTC
The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.
The game has a good HDR implementation providing an actual Peak HDR Luminance slider (in nits) along with a Paper White and HDR Contrast controls.

If you have an LG OLED and:
> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:
- Set HDR PEAK BRIGHTNESS slider to: 4.000 (nits);
- Set HDR PAPER WHITE slider to: 150 (nits) or 200 (for G3).
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR PEAK BRIGHTNESS slider to: 800 (nits) or 1.000 (for G2) or 1.500 (for G3);
- Set HDR PAPER WHITE slider to: 200 (nits).
If you don't have an LG OLED and:
> you don't have an HGIG option:
- Set HDR PEAK BRIGHTNESS slider to: 1.000 (nits);
- Set HDR PAPER WHITE slider to: 200 (nits).
> you're using HGIG:
- Set HDR PEAK BRIGHTNESS slider to the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits";
- Set HDR PAPER WHITE slider to: 200 (nits).
In all cases, set HDR CONTRAST slider to 1.85 in order to have a more balanced range between darker and brighter areas.

2023-03-14 04:32:34 +0000 UTCI'm unaware of further patches for system HDR support. On PS5, are you using RGB Limited color space + all other video options to Auto and "HDR On When Supported" option enabled?

2022-05-01 16:10:08 +0000 UTCMy game doesnβt seem to have any options for HDR while playing on PS5. Is there a chance they updated it to support HGiG? Running the PS4 version on PS5, not sure if thereβs been a native version for PS5 yet.
