Help me draw a living armour that possesses people!

Hey, I am drawing a mini comic involving some living hell armour that possesses a lesser-known superheroine.
Wanted to know if people have ideas for design or concepts to inspire the armour on. I am thinking a hell-monster that has been buried deep underground. But I am more interested to see what kind of madness we can come up with together.

Nice image for a practice sketch, but I ended up going for something a bit more macabre and... fleshy for the armour.
