2021-10-28 19:13:09 +0000 UTCThank you - there´s so much going on in this one - the main idea behind it all is obviously racism, but she also took it a bit further and wanted to compare religious and sexual ecstasy and that obviously rubbed some people the wrong way.. add some stigmata, burning crosses and martyrdom and voila, you have a ban from the Vatican.. Oh the good old days when music videos were multi layered and full of meanings, not just butt shaking :D

In addition to the burning crosses, Pepsi was also pissed that she was kissing a (black) man on an altar and “writhing around “ in a church. Lol. I was 16 back in ‘89 and it was definitely a huge scandal!!
