Game of Thrones S6 Finale Full Episode Reaction!!

Pycell had to die because Cersei is not supposed to be next in line, but Qyburn would name her

Great reaction. Also liked the long discussion. I don't think a discussion of this episode can ever be too long. If you remember how angry Robert was about Daenerys and how eager he was to have her murderd. That's why Ned had to make a very convincing story about Jons origin. Ned also refused to take part in killing Dany, because that could have been Jon if things were different. Another cool bit is, that Ned told Jon they would talk about his mother, the next time they see each other. Ned probably thought he would only return to the North, when Robert dies and he is relieved of his position as hand of the king. Since Robert was the biggest threat to Jons safety he might have thought to reveal Jons origin after Robert died, at least to Jon. I also wonder who else knew about Jons parents. I suspect that the only other person who knew was Benjen. In the books it is said that Benjen was very close with Lyanna and also in the show it seems he always had a very special interest in Jon and supported him where he could.

Yayyyy my favorite episode! So much happened and literally everything was perfect. I hate/love Cersei but seeing her get her revenge and take down the high sparrow was amazing. And have been waiting six seasons to see the Jon reveal! One of my favorite moments in GoT reactions. Also just everything is so stacked in favor of my favorite characters here, so much hope. Sigh…

My favourite episode of the series 😁 As someone who from day 1 their favourite character has been Cersei it was brilliant to see her on the Iron Throne. Great reaction, looking forward to season 7!

So you asked where Rhaegar was and it's mentioned in earlier seasons that Robert killed Rhaegar at the Trident. Even in Bran's young Ned flashback Ned asks Ser Arthur Dayne (the really awesome swordsman with two swords) why he wasn't protecting his prince and Dayne says his prince wanted him there at the tower (obviously protecting Lyana).

Love this episode and your reaction to it! Please, if you get a chance, react to the YouTube video "R + L = J" idk, I could be wrong about the title. Someone who knows what I'm talking about, correct me, if I'm wrong!

This is my favorite episode of the entire series. So happy you made it this far!! Also - remember that all the these things happen on different timelines. Like, we don't know when Arya got back to Westeros. We don't know when Varys left Dorne and got back to Dany. Those things could have happened at the same time. Ships take a really long time to build so Theon and Yara might've been in Mereen for months - plenty of time for Varys to go to, and return from, Dorne. Cersei's time in prison might have taken place while Dany's ships were getting built. We don't know the parallel timelines. As for Cersei - she MADE herself Queen. It didn't work like that. She just took it.

Ok so much to go over here. I'm glad you remembered the rat King story that Bran told. Arya cooking Walder's sons into a pie was perfect. Uncle Benjin was captured by white walkers. They turned him into a white Walker but the children of the forest found him and stopped the process. The did this by shoving a dagger made of dragon glass into his heart. Now he is basically half white Walker and half human but he still fights for the side of the living. The wall has spells carved into its foundations. Bc of that the dead cannot pass as long as it stands and bc Benjin is half white Walker he cannot pass either. You basically figured out the Jon Snow part. That place they were at is the tower of joy in Dorn. That's why little Finger called Jon a motherless bastard born in the south. Lyana whispered to Ned, "If Robert finds out he'll kill him". Meaning that if he found out she had a baby that wasn't his he would kill it. All we know is Lyana is his mom and Rhaegar Targaryen is his dad and that he kidnapped and raped her and that's what started Robert's rebellion which made him king and killed the mad king. But like you said Ser Bariston always talked about how good of a person Rhaegar was so that's conflicting. This makes Jon Danny's nephew. The main thing to take away from this is that Ned never cheated on Catelyn but pretended he did to keep Jon safe. One other thing I wanted to add was a few episodes ago Cerise asked Qyburn about if something was a rumor or more and he replied "Much more". That was about the wildfire underneath the Sept and that's where the plan began to blow them all up. Amazing episode and I can't wait till you get to season 7.
