I still hate watching it. I'm so sorry you were excited. This was the worst episode and some of the best acting of the whole series.

When is the next episode? This was almost a month ago, I don’t want to have to pay a monthly fee if you dont release the episodes?

This is my 2nd favorite episode of the entire series. It was an emotional rollercoaster. They did an amazing job of bringing us all up then sending us crashing down hard. There are many really sad moments in this show but this is one of only 3 that made me ball my eyes out really bad. I got teary eyed when Ned died and other moments as well but this is on another level. I also agree with you on the amazing acting in this one. They really sold it, especially Catlyn. I get chills every time I hear her scream like that. I cant wait till you get into season 4. It's one of the best and has many satisfying moments.

I watched this episode for the first time about 6 months ago. I had heard about the infamous "Red Wedding" and how it was gruesome and bloody, and the moment I heard about Joffrey and Margaery's wedding I thought that had to be it. I thought that right up until Walder Frey was walking Roslin to the alter, and my mom (who had seen the show and was known to spoil things out of excitement) told me "this is it! this is the red wedding!". At that point I knew I was probably going to see Robb die, but I still wasn't prepared for what was going to happen. That's the only time a tv show or movie made me feel real trauma, like I genuinely couldn't sleep that night. I was always fond of Robb, seeing him go like that was hard.

You notice through out the first 3 seasons they played The Rains of Castamere very often during scenes and even the after credits. Music in this show always played a role as much as the characters did and having it played at the wedding you already know something is going wrong

some heartbreaking excerpts from this chapter in the book...
"Ser Ryman and Black Walder were circling round her back, but Catelyn did not care. They could do as they wished with her; imprison her, rape her, kill her, it made no matter. She had lived too long, and Ned was waiting. It was Robb she feared for." .... and the last line in the chapter .... "a hand grabbed her scalp just as she’d done with Jinglebell, and she thought, No, don’t, don’t cut my hair, Ned loves my hair. Then the steel was at her throat, and its bite was red and cold."
At this time Sansa is a hostage and Cat thinks all the rest of her children are dead. So when she sees Robb die, she goes numb and hallucinates. The only thing that gives her comfort is the prospect of reuniting with Ned. *sigh*.....

ok, so I've seen this episode well over a dozen times and I still get mega anxious the moment Cat slowly turns her head when they start to play "The Rains of Castamere". That's the song that plays in every Lannister scene. They sing it, hum it and whistle it numerous times through the first 3 seasons. Remember the scene when Margery calls Cersei "sister" and Cersei tells her the story of when Tywin slaughtered an entire noble House call Reyne? That's what the Rains of Castamere is about. And Cat, who wasn't raised in the North, definitely knows the song. That's why she got really nervous and suspicious about Lord Bolton when they start playing it...why would they play the Lannister song at a Stark-Frey wedding???? She realized that it was a trap when she saw that Bolton was wearing chainmail under his clothes.
