Alisa’s design (poll)
Added 2025-07-16 16:43:08 +0000 UTCAfter I’ve posted that big characters design sheet, I realised I’m not really satisfied with some of them. I was thinking of how could I update Alisa. Here’s my idea:
Of course, her look has been the same for a decade and I feel pity changing her, but at the same time, I’m not 100% satisfied with it. I’m currently thinking of making her hair longer and changing it to the white like her fur. What do you think?

It looks unfinished with the white hair and flat shading. I think for this to work, you need to add a tiny bit of tint to differentiate from the face, even for otherwise flat-colored pieces.

2025-07-17 16:41:18 +0000 UTCThe contrast of a different hair color helps separate the shapes involved at a glance.. without that the eye has to look a little longer to pick out where her face ends and her hair begins. Maybe darker/desaturated and heavier lines for her hair could help with that? Even just heavier lines at the boundary between whites (excepting eyebrows) would go a long way!
