"The change" [personal]

Happy Valentine's Day! May your person be found (or not be lost).

Yes, the wolf guy is different. I’m not sure if it’s the same character. We create different characters as "fragments" of ourselves, and Kordi was one of my fragments. But in the chaos of random sketches and comics, it becomes hard to say what's her canon and what isn’t. I think that anything that fits into the previously published lore can be considered canonical!

Well, the question was kind of rhetorical, but I am happy to hear your response to it. I am kind of surprised and glad that I am not alone with this kind of feeling. You're not wrong in anything you said. ^^ And yes, I for sure try to keep an open mind when it comes to a partner IRL. I'm not very picky, I think, as i'd be happy if just about anyone fancied me. Lol.

Thank you for such a detailed comment and sorry for a late reply! Regarding your question, I may tell you that before I met a person I fell in love with, I created characters that were similar to him in some traits, the traits I was searching for. Of course, a real person is always different from what we have in our imagination, they are less... "sterile", they have much more disadvantages xD However, you'll find some of the disadvantages faschinating, some bearable and some would be your key to help the person to improve. Well, what I wanted to say here is that it's good that you already visualise a person you'll like! One day you'll meet someone who's similar to her in the core! Just remember that a real person can't be similar to her in everything and making a perfect match is always a mutual work. Noone will be a perfect match right from the start :)

Happy Valentine's day, Iskra!

As in reality, I suppose it's normal that things naturally progress in artwork as well. We get attached to these characters, construct their personalities, and tell stories. With characters being fragments/projections of ourselves, as we change over the years, it makes sense that out characters change with us. Things in life come and go, and the past is something I think we can reflect on and smile or cringe, either way, it's what built us. In a way, I think art is sort of like a record of that past, and it happened whether we like it or not... It's something that I certainly think about often. All we can ever do though is speculate about the future. Perhaps art can play into that as well, to an extent. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone, but my fursona kind of does, and i'm eager to see how their relationship progresses. Likewise, I wonder if that girl is a projection of the kind of person who i'd like to be with. The question is, will I ever find her?
