What I Was Working On!

So hey! I can finally talk about the big secret project I was working on for most of last year. I was writing and illustrating a 128-page kids' book about the Mesozoic. It was a very exciting project, and I am so glad I can finally talk about it.
It'll be available in major bookstores on August 1st, but you can pre-order it now through the Abrams website or order directly from Amazon if that's your thing. It's my first full color book and my first not-self-published book, so I am really excited! I just got the color proofs and they look stellar. This would be a great book not only for any cool kids with good interests in your life, but adults who may not know much about ancient beasts and want a place to start.
Now to get back to comics as usual! Well, after the TLH kickstarter is done fulfilling. There's always something, right?

Of course this was posted on one of the three consecutive days Patreon randomly decided to not send me email.... I'm so glad that I realized and took a look! This may have affected other people too, I dunno! This book is so fantastic all my sentences are ending with exclamation points!

Also, I learned the hair color of Abby's self-insert JSPH character. I am fulfilled. This is like Patreon Exclusive Extinct Creatures Hour (perhaps maybe perhaps one large reason I was swayed to Patreonize) Part 2. Am beyond excited.
