Jellyfish boys are predator monsters, this means that while they rape and capture humans, they may also kill and eat them. Despite their humanoid appearance, they are basically animals, and very dangerous.
Much like any jellyfish, most of their tentacles sting, however, this is not a painful sting, but rather one that induces paralysis and arousal in humans. Even if they are going to kill a human, the jellyfish boy will first consume the sexual juices and energies through orgasm.
While they of course go after anyone drowning or swimming in their territory, they are specifically known to grab humans off of boats.
