was the pottery lady australian? I'm hearing australian in how she doesn't always pronounce the 'r's at the end of the words but also a bit of american. I can't help thinking I'm hearing my accent features I can't focus on anything else.

I'm really interested to try this now but it's not something I would've thought I'd be interested in (or capable of) until I watched this video, so thank you! I've really enjoyed the videos where you make things like the without a recipe series, this (of course), and also the knitting video. My favorite piece of art in my house is a family sewing sampler although I know nothing about the craft - maybe try needlework?

Eugene will make it almost perfect, Ned will try and fail then hulk smash, Keith will just rage and Zach will give up and try to build like, a unicorn or something

My best friends are potters, I've spent the last 15 years watching their struggles as they founded their company and shop, raising three kids along the way. 2019-03-29 15:50:17 +0000 UTCOmg I'm working on a project where I had to interview a bunch of artists across several genres of art and one of my potters literally said that part of the problem with pottery as an art form is that people don't want to pay much for pots because they don't think it's art!!! The potter expert is both right that people will be mad at her but is also contributing to the devaluation of pots!! It literally is a huge debate in the potter community about whether pottery falls under an artistic category via folk art or if the functionality of the work keeps it in the crafts genre. Either way pots are a lot of work and potters deserve to be paid for their time and expertise. They should not be belittling their own work!
