Added 2019-02-12 16:01:00 +0000 UTCNed challenged himself to take the S.A.T. as an adult. Will he score as well as he did over a decade ago?

I'm sad that you guys missed the chance to address how ableist and classist the SATs are in the first place, but I did enjoy the video.

2019-02-15 15:08:27 +0000 UTCI would give anything to watch Ned teach an intro chemistry lecture to the guys. Or lead them through basic lab safety. From one chemist to another?!

2019-02-13 20:56:42 +0000 UTCGreat score. I would combine my total SATS scores from two SATS to top 1500. Never studied for my SATs, either of them, nor my PSAT nor my ACT. I figured that studying was a waste of time and I was accepted at the four colleges I applied for.

2019-02-13 20:12:15 +0000 UTCOh hey they changed it back to 1600? This is how it was when I took it, and then they changed it to something higher. I would definitely NOT do as well as I did in high school xD In fact, I doubt I'd be able to get into the college I got into if I were to take the tests again now hahah

2019-02-13 11:46:15 +0000 UTCI'm going to be honest, as an Aussie who opted out of our big tests, despite agreeing with all the sentiments, my concentration was on Pesto the whole time he was on the screen. <3

2019-02-13 09:37:47 +0000 UTCYes! I graduated in 2012 and it was the 2400 scoring system as well—I heard recently that it had switched back and was so thrown off, haha.

2019-02-13 07:32:43 +0000 UTCAs an Aussie I have to ask is the SATs like one big exam with English, maths, science etc? In Australia(at least in my state of New South Wales)for our last main high school exam we call it a High School Certificate & we do multiple exams with the subjects we have done for years 11/12. Like if I didn't do maths I wouldn't have to do a maths exam etc. sadly my mum made me do maths because "we always need maths in our lives." An I using it now? Nope. Exam results in high school don't define you guys! :)

2019-02-13 06:17:50 +0000 UTCDid they change it back to 1600? When I was in high school, I took it senior year, graduated in '06, it was 2400. I did horribleeeeeeee. Yet,watching Ned do these and the ones he had trouble on, I knew. Wtf. And, I was always put in the lower level math classes.

2019-02-13 06:00:31 +0000 UTCstudying drunk is a horrible idea. memory is state dependent. so if you study drunk youll have the best recall while drunk again. coffee is another one of these. and since i doubt you took the test drunk you didnt do yourself the best favor drinking while putting things to memory. also as an oregonian it was so weird watching you buy hard alcohol in teh store. we have to go to liquor stores for anything other than wine and beer and they are closed on sundays, holidays, and after a reasonable time of night.

2019-02-13 04:04:06 +0000 UTCThank you, Canada, for not having SAT's, and because Canadian history is boring but uncomplicated. Also grateful for the Metric system, which I can use every time I travel to Europe. Haha. Lol'd so hard at Ned at the end. "I'm going to the college of my dreams!" Way to go, buddy!!!

2019-02-13 03:01:24 +0000 UTCSo you guys just do one test that covers everything? In Australia our HSC is a test for every subject, so you have tests spread out over about 2 weeks, they each last about 2 hours from memory (long time ago) so you'd do about 10 hours of tests.
