FYI: “Capo di famiglia” means “Head of family” in Italian. …Get it??

Yes, Darcie, I SO want to see a reenactment of Buffy S2x22 with Angel "signaling her with his eyes"... One of the best lines of the entire series, IMHO. So glad you laughed so hard at this episode!

"You give us the money, we give you the head... First the money, then the head." How did that so go over my (ahem) head until now? 🤣

For me the more I watch this episode the more I dislike it. I'm sure it was hilarious the first time with Spike and Angel. I enjoyed seeing you just die laughing and I'm glad you weren't destroyed (like I was way back when) when Buffy didn't show. As someone put in the discord, it wasn't even really her with the Immortal anyway. (They touched on it in the motion comics by showing they were training "other Buffys," but it's more blatantly put in the full comic.) Overall, to me now, this episode just feels like such a waste of precious time.
However, I too love how Angel said he signaled to her with his eyes, because she literally says, "Close your eyes," and so his eyes were closed right before she stabs him! Their theme song is even titled 'Close Your Eyes'. Ha ha ha! Oh, I love Angel so much. Spike and Angel are hilarious together. Still wish Cordy could have also been in this season though.
Fred KILLS me. Ugh. I mentioned her parents a while back knowing we'd see them again and it'd be heartbreaking. It was painful to type as if I didn't know what was coming and from the view point of a first watch. Poor Wesley. Poor Fred. My heart. Part of me wishes we could just live in the false reality of Illyria pretending to be Fred, but that's just simply much more painful.
Down to the wire now! I'm both super excited for you to see what's next and extremely sad it's almost over!

For the first time I realized they keep calling them "the Americanos" but neither of them are American.

Today's Lesson: To get head from an Italian, you hand over the money. We speak of this no more.

Spike and Angel arguing over who saved the world more is top tier.

It’s funny to me when Angel gets petty, haha.

It's rather amusing that Michelle wasn't available for this particular episode because she was filming Eurotrip, a comedy about a trip to Europe.

I remembered a couple of things while watching. The scenes with Andrew were originally written for Dawn but they couldn’t get Michelle Trachtenberg. And then the final Andrew scene with the two girls, they wanted to to be 1 guy and 1 girl to keep his sexuality ambiguous but the network wouldn’t let them and wanted it to be two girls.

I love how much this made you laugh. It was a meh episode when I first saw it, but I unabashedly love it now. And Amy Acker did a phenomenal job.

This episode seems to be a love it or hate it type for fans. I appreciate that the show tried to give us one more update on Buffy before it ends but not having SMG makes it tricky. They used the comedic tone to try to get around not having the actress. To me the most interesting stuff in the episode is the Fred/Illyria stuff. Amy does such an amazing job of switching between the characters.

Another one of those "I've been waiting for you to see this" haha. Can't wait to watch, I hope you're as obsessed that we may or may not see our buff. Lol then pissed that we didn't. Haha
