I imagie to some very simple minded folk of unremarkable intelligence it is simply all about themselves and hedonistically they just post their thoughts and feelings with no regard.

people on yt dropping spoilers in comments is nothing new sadly. some either do not care or do not think lol

I am not certain whether it's always the subtitles or the original Japanese, but they have even been unable to keep their terminology straight from episode to episode, or from last season.

To answer your question, as a novel reader I very much prefer 'Seven Luminaries' but the anime seems insistent of calling them the 'Seven Days Clergy' which is just clunky and feels wrong to me...

I'm actually a big fan that the anime framed the fights in this episode in a comedic way! Because that's really what they are from the outside, just Rimuru's subordinates bullying some weaklings. No need to feel serious about the fights themselves, the important points are dissecting the Seven Day's plans.

Yeah I have always preferred the term 'Demon Peer' instead of 'Daemon Lord.' Especially in writing it is too easy to confuse 'Daemon Lord' with 'Demon Lord' if you are not careful. And yeah Diablo has a crazy strong material body because he took most of the 20,000 corpse offering to make up his body. A strong material body is important for housing strong spiritual beings. I believe this is why Veldora was so happy with the material body Rimuru offered him (the Enhanced Clone)

They were being a bit confusing in the anime because the terminology used here was completely different from the light novel. To go over this: An Archdemon is one who reaches the maximum level of magicules for a demon. If one maintains that for 2000 years (that is, doesn't lose in battle, because demons constantly battle each other, but losing means knocking some magicules off the top), they become what the anime calls a Demon Lord. That is equivalent to a Demon Lord Seed, which the anime is also calling a Demon Lord Factor. Having reached this level, they can manifest the Demon Lord Presence (aka Lord's Ambition). At this level, a trigger can bring them to the next level; in Diablo's case, it was being named. The anime called this level Daemon Lord, but the novels call it Demon Peer. There are steps within this level as well, like Demon Count, Demon Duke, etc. There is another level above Demon Peer that they didn't mention but that level is an awakened (True) Demon Lord, which the novels call a Devil Lord. That is where Guy is. At each level, the older the demon is, the stronger. Also we should note that Diablo has a physical body. ........

Can't say anything about your theory, but you see one of the reasons they had to put these two events together was that they needed the Seven Days Clergy to arrive at the same time at both locations, so I don't see how they could have given us action in pieces, at least these major bits. And the author always seems to come up with these almost unpredictable twists, along with making multiple plotlines merge into a major climax.

I agree
