It's true that Zoro's finishing blow could've been more flashier and I respect your opinions. But you guys also have to remember that OP isn't all about explosive flashy fights like DBZ or DBS. OP is more about the storytelling, character development, and adventures. Also Zoro is still growing stronger and learning about his new abilities. Comparing Zoro from episode one to the one now who can cut mountains and ships in half. I would say that's some great improvement.

The pacing after Dressrosa all the way to current episodes have much better pacing.

I think one of the issues that people don't talk about, is Pika's voice, while in the Manga they show he has that voice, you don't hear it every chapter he is in. While in the Anime he is talking that high all the time, and it actually really lowers his threat compared to how he seems in the manga. Also if I remember correctly the reason the Anime placed the Zoro Mihawk Flashback into this episode, is because Episode of East Blue came out, which is all the beginning East Blue Arcs with better Animation. They basically used that for the Flashback in this episode.

I agree and disagree, I agree that toei messed it up, but disagree that it was cold in thr manga. The manga is a drawing and still version of this, nothing changed there. But toei messed this up by not making the still version more badass by doing high quality animation to make the finisher more satisfying and badass. So in short, both the manga and anime were the same and identical nothing changed.

Tbh king punch was more epic than zoro’s three thousand world. The black aura surrounding the blade was so badass though. I wish the toei did a better job making zoro’s finishing moves better instead of underwhelmingly boring. But zoro’s finishers is always garbage, it’s just always him posing but then the result is lackluster.

That's facts at the end. Anime ruined a lot of parts of this arc. And if people can be honest, the pacing won't change much from how it is now. Continue to call out the anime for being slow when its warranted. Speak your feelings that's called a genuine reaction.

agree pace is horrible in anime (surprise manga doesnt have as that bad pace) but Zoro beating Pica was still epic...

For your own enjoyment, it would've been good to watch One Pace for this arc. You're pretty much through the bad pacing now but you should do it for next arc!

I understand the anime needs to draw out the pacing and all that shiznit but why STILL fuck up the finisher after all the abuse. They didn’t have to fuck this up. It was a choice. I just don’t get it. Why not just do the entire attack with HQ animation in 2 minutes then make the rest of the episode filler? Idk. I stopped watching the anime in TB 10 years ago or whatever and have been watching it with y’all but this shit tarnishes the original material. Let’s see about the next fight…

Yeah they dragged the fight out and stuff but I just hope you guys realize how big Pica was. Had buildings and cities fitting on just his hand, I’d say it was like cutting a mountain but I think that may be an understatement in terms of size. The finish was underwhelming though like you said, but that’s because he finished him pretty easily

I think the Zoro fight is cool in the anime, but in the manga, honestly, that shit was god-like.. I thought it was crazier. The art was crazy. Check out chapter 778, I loved that chapter when it dropped back in the day.
