I don't know if I'm right, but i think laboon and the Kraken aren't sea kings, they are more like sea monsters, because shirahoshi and Luffy couldn't hear them.

the one piece specials are pretty cool, there animated in a newer style and cover the whole arc in a movie for skypeia and alabasta and some of the earlier strawhat backstories. you guys should react to those eventually

You guys are talking about rewatching certain arcs, but you should know that they've actually done special episodes and movies to cover entire arcs with brand new animation and it's a really great way to revisit arcs you loved with a fresh edit. Highly recommend checking these out once you're caught up to the current weekly releases. Episode of East Blue covers the entire East Blue arc in under two hours and it's amazing and the updated animation looks beautiful.

Fishman Island arc has a good message and its used to show off the Straw-hats new skills, as a whole is not bad, its good, but, its not on the top, well, to me it isn't, it second to last on the bottom, with Skypea being in the bottom

I just saw Fishman Island as an arc with a deep message, showcase for the strawhats after the timeskip, and a setup for the New World. Didn't think it was a bad arc but it was ok.

Imma keep it a buck the the only arc I didn't watch with yall was fishman island arc. Besides the beginning the flashback and the worl endining at the end, I skip

The wood blocks are actually a really funny reference to an old question that a reader sent to Oda asking how back in Alabasta, Mr. 3 seemed to be floating on top of the water in the room with the jail cell and banana gators after Sanji got him to recreate the key and then knocked him out. Since Mr. 3 is a devil fruit eater, he should have sank, so Oda came up with a tongue-in-cheek explanation that Mr. 3 landed on a piece of some type of incredibly buoyant wood. Oda called back to that little cover-up joke with the wood that the straw hats use to float up from the deep sea.

If you like fishmen island you are going to love the other arcs coming because in my opinion they are way better than fishmen island. Fishmen island is good but is the least out of the post time skip arcs

Fishman Island was definitely my least favorite arc. From the beginning we knew Hordy and his crew wasn't a match from Luffy and the straw hats. So it really dragged out for no reason.

Btw guys the next few episodes are filler that leads into a movie

There is something pretty big you should be thinking about concerning those whales. Laboon’s scars came from it trying to break through the Red Line to search for the Rumbar Pirates, so then why do many of those whales have similar scars??? When you think about it, migration patterns for whales are instinctual. So if those whales are accidentally running into the Red Line which is creating those scars...then the Red Line was NOT always there!

I think that's why Fishman and Carabu were, like before the time skip yeah it would be a challenge for them but now it was easy. Hordy isn't that bad from what I remember, when I finally caught up this was the weakest arc for me for the same thoughts, but re watching it with them I actually appreciate the bosses more even tho they were the weakest point.

I'm with y'all on the strengths and weaknesses of the Fishman arc. Strong message, weak boss fights, and felt very cut-off from the rest of the world. It's a decent arc, but feels like a re-introduction to the characters before the real stuff in the new world starts. I appreciate for that . I thought it was kinda funny that you put the question out there if any of us would rewatch these arcs, for the Patrons at least, cuz we're literally watching them all again with y'all lol
