Wow yet another addition to the series. This is so mysterious. What is that substance and why is it so important that humans or vampires from other families don’t take it? Could it be... Vampire blood extracted from the ancient founding Matriarch? With the the rumored effects of increasing feelings of codependency toward the ones who grant it? Could it have been tampered with by witches to enhance its effects to dissolve the memories of those who imbibe it? Seems like the kind of thing a secret vampire coven would have in its arsenal. And now all this about esoteric items using sympathetic magick to ward off dark energies? Just what kind of world did we stumble into???
