🎉 MindWare 0.2.3 (Supporters-Only Beta 1)

I haven't been slacking last week - quite the opposite. I decided to make a major life change that should allow me to give MindWare equal or higher priority (and time) than my work, and spent most of last week trying to make it happen. I think I've succeeded, but I'm still waiting for confirmation.

I expected to be able to make an official announcement on Friday - when that didn't happen, I was sure that I would be able to make it on Monday. Alas, it's Tuesday and I'm still waiting, so the show must go on regardless. I will discuss the change and its implications in depth in a separate future post.

About the New Content:

In this release, you'll experience the second transformation dream and the continuation of the main story. The content is relatively short (only one in-game day) but it introduces a new location, major story developments, and lots of (audio-)visuals for you to enjoy.

Coming Next:

The development of Supporters-Only Beta 2 will resume tomorrow and it should significantly advance the new main story quest + introduce a new BrainFry character.

I also need to start addressing reported bugs and working on other parts of the game now that we've reached another stage of the player's transformation. For that, some extra planning will be necessary but nothing that would slow me down significantly.

Speaking of which, now that I've done what I could to make the mysterious life change happen, I really want to make the next 2-3 months be the most productive ones yet for MindWare's development (ideally, I want to be developing the game every single work day). Let's see how it goes!
