Loyalty Rewards, new Tier, and potential Gumroad

Hope you're doing well :)

My break's been good so far, taking things easy as possible. Turns out my body and mind needed this lil vacation more than I thought, at the same time I'm itching to get back to business haha.

I've also used this time to reflect on a lot of my art, what I want to do moving forward, and how I want to handle things here on Patreon from now on, more specifically the reward system and new art formats (like comics) but we'll get to the latter in a separate post ;)

So let's break down all what I've been thinking about/planning!

1) Loyalty Rewards

This is something that's been on my mind for a long time now. I want to introduce some extra rewards to people who have been pledged to me for a longer period of time! More specifically, people who pledge and stay pledged, without cancelling before the month end. I still need to figure out the best way to track that, but there are filters here in Patreon I can use to help me with it xD 

Once I have a concrete system in place, I will share more details. For now, I do know that I want to give an extra drawing as a thank you in the Monthly Reward Packs to those who meet that criteria. These drawings will not be random - it will be something you like, so I will most likely do a special type of poll for them. These drawings would be available every two, or three months, depending on which "model" I choose,  but I think it's good idea to start counting from January this year, which most likely means that the first loyalty drawing would be distributed at the start of March. (Also I'm aware there's a bunch of folks who have been pledged since the beginning so thinking about that too)

In any case I'll share more details once I'm 100% sure on how to do this!

2) New Tiers

This is also something that I've planned on for a while, but didn't want to rush with. So I'm thinking about opening a new Tier called Gold Paw for 10$/month. I get a lot of commission requests, and I've been commissioned a lot of times by the same people (bless you), and this got me thinking I could offer certain discounts, or even priority spots on the slot openings. Something like 15%/20% commission discount and a higher chance to get commissioned once the slots open, or heck maybe even move to Patreon-only commissions if there's enough interest. I think this might be not so bad idea :) 

Down the line, there will be another tier called Rainbow Paw and it will basically be something like an ultimate Tier? A collection of ALL rewards plus a custom drawing on your request, available once a month, for 20$/30$ a month or so. Which  means it would be a Tier limited to few slots. Still need to think lots about the details of this one. 

3) Gumroad

From what I've seen, Gumroad seems to be a great way of sharing your art for those who are not on the Patreon, and have maybe potentially missed on certain Monthly Reward Packs. As you are aware, for safety reasons I keep the links open for a month, and then they are closed, replaced by the new rewards once they roll out.

Gumroad would allow me to share older reward packs with anyone who wishes to see the old rewards, especially non-Patrons. Of course, if you are a Patron and wish to access the link from a previous months bundle you were subscribed to and it's not there anymore, you are always free to message me with a request to re-open it for you:)

Loyalty Rewards would not be part of the Gumroad packs. 

How I will handle sharing OLD process images is still something I need to think about. I am not sure if they will be on Gumroad or not. Or if I'll share them all at once here on Patreon once every 6 months or once a year. We'll see!
