Sasuke walked straight in and sat in a seat one space away from the wall. The inner seat was reserved for Naruto.

"Sasuke, you're here early. Skipping class again?" Old Man Teuchi said with a smile.

"I don't have any more classes. I graduated early. Look at the ninja headband on my head, it's still fresh!" Sasuke pointed to the headband on his forehead.

"Not bad! You've become a Genin!" Old Man Teuchi gave Sasuke a thumbs up and then said, "To celebrate you becoming a Genin, this bowl of ramen is on me today!"

"Thank you, Old Man Teuchi!" Sasuke grinned. He couldn't quite figure out Old Man Teuchi's situation right now and didn't dare to refuse his offer.

"You're too kind." Old Man Teuchi smiled and started to cook the noodles in the pot.

Not long after, a steaming bowl of ramen was presented in front of Sasuke. There were extra ingredients in the noodles, and it smelled quite rich.

Before Sasuke could start eating...

...he heard a series of rapid footsteps outside.

"Old Man Teuchi, I need two seats!"

Along with this slightly rash voice, two Naruto Uzumakis rushed in, making it impossible to tell whether it was a shadow clone or the real one.

"Sasuke?!"

When Naruto entered Ichiraku Ramen, he immediately saw Sasuke's back and instantly recognized him, a look of ecstasy on his face.

One of the Narutos vanished into a puff of smoke.

"Sasuke, why are you here? I was planning to save you a seat, but I didn't know if you would come. I didn't expect you to be faster than me!" Naruto said with a grin.

"I saved you a seat." Sasuke glanced at the seat next to him.

"Thanks!"

Naruto sat directly in the seat against the wall and looked at Sasuke from the side. His gaze instantly fixed on Sasuke's headband, his azure blue eyes filled with unconcealed envy.

"Sasuke, you've become a Genin!"
