Chapter 113: Chinatsu's Request - Family Stays Together
Added 2024-09-30 15:13:31 +0000 UTC"In his Genin days, he learned all of your Ninjutsu and Genjutsu? Hey, Kurenai-sensei, is this for real? Shino just said that he only took less than a year to advance from Genin to Jounin. Does that mean he mastered all your techniques in just a year?" Kiba exclaimed.
"No, to be exact, it only took thirty minutes. He learned almost all the Ninjutsu and Genjutsu I demonstrated just by watching them once," Kurenai explained, glancing at Sasuke. "Your Uchiha clan's Sharingan can copy Taijutsu and non-Kekkei Genkai Ninjutsu by observing chakra flow. But it can't copy Genjutsu. So, his talent has already surpassed your clan."
"Dammit," Sasuke gritted his teeth. Though he hated to admit it, learning all of Kurenai's techniques after just one demonstration was a feat that surpassed 99% of Uchiha with the Sharingan.
Kurenai continued, "You might be better off asking your teacher, Kakashi. After all, Kakashi-sensei was his Jounin examiner and was also your brother's captain when they were in the Anbu together."
While the two talked, Naruto was off to the side, listening in confusion. "Who are you talking about?" he asked, getting frustrated.
"Your so-called 'Aizen-niisan,'" Shino said, picking up Sasuke's fallen rogue-ninja handbook and dusting it off before handing it to Naruto.
Looking at Aizen's wanted poster, Naruto's expression turned somber as he fell into thought.
After a while, Naruto suddenly clenched his fist and raised it above his head, shouting, "I've decided! When I become Hokage, I’ll find Aizen-niisan, beat him up, and bring him back to Konoha!"
Everyone was stunned, reacting in different ways.
Sasuke called Naruto an idiot, though he couldn't help but show a slight smile that even he didn't notice.
Sakura and Kiba looked at Naruto with disdain, thinking he was dreaming.
Only Kurenai and Hinata smiled, as if they had found a kindred spirit.
As for Shino, he silently put away the rogue-ninja handbook, keeping his thoughts to himself.
"Alright, enough chatter. Kiba, Hinata, Shino, the Chuunin Exams are in a week. Don't slack off during this time," Kurenai said before disappearing from the dango shop.
Before leaving, she gave Naruto a deep look and thought, "So, this is the Nine-Tails kid Aizen always mentioned? He’s certainly an interesting one."
Then her thoughts turned back to Aizen, and she fumed silently, "That bastard dared to fake his death and even placed a Genjutsu on me. If he comes back, I’ll make sure he understands the meaning of 'teacher's tough love.'"
Kurenai’s Genjutsu had worn off earlier than Aizen anticipated, though he didn’t know that yet. Even if he did, it wouldn’t have bothered him much.
At that moment, Aizen was enjoying his first family dinner with Tsunade and Chinatsu.
To give them some space, Shizune and Tonton had chosen to stay at the inn.
"Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!"
After the meal, Aizen suddenly sneezed three times in a row.
"What’s wrong?" Tsunade asked, puzzled.
Aizen rubbed his nose and said, "Nothing... probably some girl thinking about me. My damn irresistible charm strikes again."
Tsunade rolled her eyes, "You're so full of yourself."
Ignoring Tsunade’s comment, Aizen picked up Chinatsu, kissed her on her cute little cheek, and smiled, "Your mom says Daddy’s full of himself. Is Daddy really self-centered?"
"Not at all, Aizen-niisan is super cool!" Chinatsu giggled, her big, bright eyes forming little crescent moons.
"Uh..." Aizen’s smile stiffened. "How about you call me 'Dad'? Or just my name is fine, too."
Chinatsu hesitated, blinking her big eyes before softly saying, "Then... Aizen?"
As long as she didn't have to call him "Dad," anything else would do.
Aizen, overwhelmed by his daughter's cuteness, quickly responded, "Say it again! No, say it three times!"
Chinatsu opened her little mouth and repeated three times, "Aizen... Aizen... Aizen!"
Her sweet, clear voice was so soothing it felt like it cleansed his soul, drawing everyone in.
Tsunade, unable to take any more, pulled Chinatsu from Aizen's arms and scolded, "That’s enough, you pervert! You’ve eaten, you’ve bonded with your daughter, and now it’s late. Time for you to leave. If you want to see her, come by during the day when I'm at the gambling house. Just bring her back before dark."
Aizen blinked in confusion, "Leave? Where am I supposed to go?"
"Back to wherever you came from! What, do you expect to sleep with us?" Tsunade said without thinking.
The moment the words left her mouth, she regretted it. She saw the predatory look in Aizen’s eyes again. That insatiable beast... he’d jump at any chance.
"I actually think that’s a great idea. Married couples don’t sleep in separate rooms, after all," Aizen shrugged, walking over to Tsunade and gently stroking Chinatsu’s little head. Smiling, he said, "Isn’t that right, Chinatsu?"
"Aizen is right," Chinatsu's eyes sparkled as she imagined Aizen holding her while they slept. Her cheeks flushed red, and she looked at Tsunade with teary eyes. "Mommy, I’ve never slept with Daddy before. Don’t you care if I’m sad?"
Tears even started welling up in her eyes, as if she was ready to cry if Tsunade didn’t agree.
Just to sleep next to Aizen, she was willing to go all out, even calling him "Daddy" and forcing out a few tears.
"Uh, well..." Tsunade panicked, trying to resist, "But there are only two beds, and Shizune is still here. It’s not convenient."
"It’s fine. I’ll just book another room," Aizen said, leaving Tsunade no way out.
"You..." Tsunade clicked her tongue in frustration, silently hoping that with Chinatsu there, Aizen wouldn’t try anything funny.
