Closest thing definitely would be the mana blade. The overlord class itself was damaged and I believe Simon felt his soul get hurt as well. Someone for sure found a way to hurt the overlord through the brands but we got no clue who. Maybe Luis or maybe vouivre

Aaron Hicking

I don't think Simon will ever have any children until he can ensure they don't get erased when moving on to the next reign. I won't be surprise if Simon learns how to do that when he finally figures out how to make vassal class for the Overlord.

Bob1350

Has Simon encountered something that damaged his soul before? It would make sense for that manner of damage to persist throughout the reigns. Though if killing an Overlord was as easy as just extinguishing their soul the Oracle would've likely figure it out by now.

Rhultal Vox

Archfiend Dragon is going to be bad

Zahir Nahasamapetial

Almost certainly the Kish homeland that got thrown into the sky during the last Doom and stayed there that Eole talked about

SoulCaptain

Louis? Me too.

BlaueFeder

Wtf, an even more secret skyship?

Skinnybonz

So Louis is certifiable - My bet is he's purposefully broke out one of the Zodiac fiends, who is now puppetting Casval - and using him to attack Simon.

Logrus

It's weird that dieing near norbell seems like the only true threat, also being a dark visionary seems necessary to escape the overlord plot

Kiwilord

Man, I was hoping for this Reign to be the longest yet, long enough for Simon to see his potential daughter grow to make it extra heart breaking when it all ends.

Chad B. Sonnen

I'm excited for the reign were he casually kills his older brother and continues the meeting as if nothing happened

Kiwilord

Okay, we have the coalition of the malicious and if this is the sanctuary, someone has learned how to change its course (archdeamon is likely). The other option is the queens castle which is the only other flying structure we know, but is quite unlikely. Justine's research was not finished so we might have Simon the impresario option still on the table. TBH, the crime syndicate remains the biggest unknown from all the possible options, so Justine is the straight powerup while they are filling in the gaps in knowledge. Joining the dragons might give some info, but only on topics that Simon knows about, I feel (burrows and Gargaut).

gostsamo

The benefits are directly linked to complexity and cost though.

CentaureHeart

It doesn't make sense that tiers are based on benefits provided instead of complexity or cost.

Great chapter
