Chapter 106: The Clueless Daughter and the Short-Tempered Wife

"Hmm, it seems like you're right!" Upon hearing this, the little girl finally realized and carefully looked at Aizen with her big eyes. "Big brother, you're really handsome. You're much better-looking than my dad."

Aizen froze for a moment. "Do you know who your dad is?"

Chika shook her head, her cute little face showing a hint of sadness. "No, I’ve never met him. But my mom says my dad is ugly. She said she left him because he was so ugly."

"Do you miss your dad?" Aizen gently stroked Chika's head, feeling a wave of guilt and tenderness.

Just then, a couple walked by, holding the hand of a young boy.

The joyful laughter of the family echoed as they passed by Aizen, Chika, and their pet pig.

Chika looked longingly at the boy and nodded heavily, "Yes."

A warmth spread through Aizen’s heart.

Just as he was about to reveal his identity, Chika, who was holding the pig, suddenly burst into tears.

Her crying immediately drew the attention of nearby pedestrians, who began whispering and casting disdainful looks at Aizen.

"What’s wrong, Chika?" Aizen's face darkened. Was he being mistaken for a creep harassing a child?

Through her tears, Chika cried out, "Mom... Mom is lost..."

"Maybe you’re the one who wandered off," Aizen thought to himself.

Meanwhile, the pig in Chika's arms kept oinking, as if it desperately wanted to tell her, "This young man in front of you is your dad, and Tsunade isn’t lost; you’re the one who got separated."

Unfortunately, it seemed Chika didn’t have Tsunade or Shizune’s ability to understand the pig's words. She was too busy crying.

"Okay, stop crying. How about I help you find your mom?" Aizen softly stroked his daughter’s head and said gently.

"But... Sister Shizune said I shouldn’t go with strangers," Chika replied, her sobs quieting down.

"Then I’ll stay here with you and wait for them," Aizen said, gently wiping away Chika’s tears.

"Okay, thank you, big brother." Chika nodded firmly.

Aizen’s heart ached. After a brief hesitation, he gathered his courage and asked, "Chika, what if I told you that I am your dad? How would you feel?"

As soon as the words left his mouth, Chika burst out laughing through her tears. "Big brother, you’re so funny!"

"I’m serious," Aizen said, looking earnest.

"I don’t want that," Chika said, putting down the pet pig, folding her arms like an adult, and puffing out her cheeks.

"Why not?" Aizen was stunned. Was his daughter rejecting him?

"Come here, big brother," Chika whispered, motioning for him to lean closer.

Aizen obediently leaned in, and Chika whispered, "Big brother, don’t be fooled by my mom’s good looks. The truth is, she’s already fifty years old."

"And she’s violent, likes to drink and gamble. You definitely don’t want to fall for her."

After saying this, Chika looked carefully at Aizen again, and her little face blushed. She whispered shyly, "But if you really want a girlfriend, you can wait for me to grow up."

"Uh..." Aizen’s mouth twitched. What was this all about?

"Sorry for the trouble my young lady has caused you," came a crisp voice from nearby.

Hearing the voice, Chika’s face lit up with joy. She turned around excitedly and waved her little hands. "Sister Shizune, I’m here! I’m here!"

The pig, even more excited, rushed over and jumped into Shizune’s arms.

Dressed in a dark gray outfit with a fishnet undershirt, her black short hair framing her face, Shizune had not changed at all in the past four years—neither in appearance nor in her figure.

"Young lady, why did you run off again?" Shizune said helplessly, holding the pet pig. But when she saw Aizen’s face, she was so shocked she stood frozen in place.

"Hey, Shizune, long time no see," Aizen greeted her with a wave.

"You... you’re..." Shizune took a step back, eyes wide, her face quickly flushing red as a trickle of nosebleed ran down. (Note: This isn’t exaggerated; refer to the time Shizune and Tsunade saw a photo of a young Danzo.)

She never expected that the young man who had once had a drunken encounter with Lady Tsunade would suddenly reappear.

And now, he had grown into a handsome man with undeniable charm.

At that moment, they were standing at a crossroads on a busy street.

Tsunade approached from behind Shizune, walking down the street. Seeing Shizune’s exaggerated reaction, she asked as she walked, "What’s going on, Shizune? Why are you so worked up? Didn’t I tell you to find Chika and then go pack our things at the inn? We’re leaving Tansu Street soon."

"Lady Tsunade, he... he..." Shizune stammered, pointing at Aizen in disbelief.

"He what?" Tsunade casually glanced over, but the moment she saw him, she froze, her expression even more exaggerated than Shizune’s.

"Hey, Tsunade, long time no see," Aizen greeted her with a wave.

"Big brother, do you know my mom and Sister Shizune?" Chika tugged on Aizen’s sleeve, puzzled.

"Of course, not only do I know them, but I’m also your—" Aizen began.

"Shizune, take Chika back to the inn. I’ll be back soon."

Before Aizen could finish his sentence, Tsunade grabbed his arm and, without another word, whisked him away, disappearing down the street.

As they vanished from sight, Chika turned to Shizune and asked, "Sister Shizune, what’s going on?"

"Sigh, it’s complicated. I’ll explain everything when Lady Tsunade gets back," Shizune sighed, feeling that the situation was becoming increasingly complex.

The pig in her arms seemed to share her sentiment, letting out a series of sympathetic oinks.

Tsunade dragged Aizen to a secluded alleyway far from the bustling streets, then stopped and crossed her arms under her chest. Without hesitation, she demanded, "Explain yourself, you jerk. Why are you suddenly here?"

Aizen smiled slightly. "I came specifically to find you, of course. I never expected we’d have a daughter together. Since that night in Tansu Street, I—"

Boom! The wall behind Aizen crumbled under Tsunade’s mighty punch. She shouted, "If you dare mention that night again, I’ll kill you right here!"

"So, what do you propose? What’s done is done. We even had a child. That night was my first time. You can’t just abandon me now," Aizen said, unafraid, his expression calm.

"You want me to take responsibility?" Tsunade let out a bitter laugh.

She had met shameless people before, but none quite like him.

Not only had he taken advantage of her, but she had also borne him a daughter.

For years, she had raised their child alone.

She never asked him to take responsibility.

And now, here he was, demanding that she take responsibility.
