Sacred Symbols, Episode 394 | You're A God

As PlayStation's aggressive pursuit of crossmedia success continues, we have a new piece of news worth considering in the form of the casting of Kratos in Amazon's upcoming God of War series. 6'6" American actor Ryan Hurst has won the coveted role, joining notable writers, directors, and a famous showrunner to make what could very well be Sony's most promising TV property yet. We discuss. Plus: A notorious developer known for more than a thousand asset flip-slash-Trophy farming games has all of its titles removed from the PSN, compelling evidence circulates that 2016's The Division is getting a Definitive Edition on PS5 somewhat imminently, Xbox's Fable joins Avowed as yet another game slated for Sony's console, Call of Duty sales purportedly plummet 60% year-over-year, and more. Then: Listener inquiries! With Colin only a few Platinums away from 200, is there any game he's specifically targeting for the milestone? Following the closure of Meta's largest VR studios, is the pursuit of virtual reality in games officially dead? Could Sea of Thieves be the actual, original extraction shooter (for lack of a better term)? Do we anticipate we'll ever win the Golden Globe for Best Podcast?

I'm coming in here late to just say it's more than a little annoying when Colin pontificates on things he does not know about. His musings about the NBA are no doubt being shown to him by people who already are acting on bad faith about basketball. Maybe look into things a little deeper, NBA is no NFL but it's a very big sport worldwide.

The DLC conversation immediately brought to mind borderlands the pre sequel which had its studio shut down before the rest of its dlc released. Incredible first dlc campaign I wish we’d gotten more

I always thought the double space conversation was referencing to the space between lines not after a period. I can’t fathom double spacing after a period

Nah he's right, you keep it in the wrapper and peel down. Especially if you don't trust the burrito roller!

Lark street shout-out hell yea!

This is for Colin and his technique for eating burritos. During last week’s episode, you mentioned your Chipotle burrito order and it brought to mind the time you yelled at a traveling Sony exec for unwrapping the wrapper for a burrito during his first experience. I have been eating burritos for 44 years and never once had to use the wrapper to keep it together. Colin, how are you eating your burritos that they keep falling apart every time you eat them and forcing this doctrine onto others? The burrito enthusiasts in this audience would like to know 🤔

BrohemianGrove

Always blows my mind when someone prefers the “sports cap” thing. I hate those and immediately open it the normal way.
