Micah - I don’t understand why your friends and Gene and Brad wouldn’t suggest the obvious choice for you which is the progenitor to Echoes which is the Link’s Awakening remake on Switch. That would be the obvious choice. If you want the difficult Zelda play Zelda II The Adventures of Link on NES. It’s my favourite one but always touted as the hardest 😂

The power of Pokémon cannot be understated. Before Pokémon Co. confirmed they’d be making mainline games for the Switch I was not interested. Immediately after that I bought my first non Nintendo handheld console ever (gifted a Wii as a kid) and never looked back. Since then, the Switch Pokemon games have become the best selling games in the franchise, only behind the OG RBY-G gameboy games.

I tweeted at Ryan Mcafree about a month ago after I seen his old isolation review and stated he should go back and look at the comments from fans believing he misrepresented the game as a bad product when in fact most fans of the franchise believe it’s one of the most faithful game adaptations from the series. A few weeks later IGN reposted a follow up review and now here we are with a sequel announcement. I feel like I willed this one into existence for us.
