a IT HAS BEEN FINISHED !!
there's a total of 1192 frames, it's the longest amv concept so far, I THINK xD
prepare for lore moment
! ! STORY ENDING SPOILERS MAYBE?? ! !
in a final, desperate act to end the paradox, Zekki meticulously erased the existence of time crystals from every timeline, ensuring that they were never discovered in the first place, but that'd mean that it would be impossible to come back to the future and by going back, he would have never met Zukii
It was a selfless act that came with a heavy price Zekki bid farewell to Zukii, knowing that by doing so, he would erase the very future where they had met
As the timelines converged and Zekki's presence in the world faded from all but that one thread of existence, he found himself back in the past
He embraced life, knowing that he had achieved his ultimate goal: to break free from the never-ending loop and find himself in a world untethered from the complexities of time
---
ALT ENDING-
Zekki had the option to restore time crystals and stay with Zukii, but deep down, he understood that doing so would condemn him to an unhappy existence in a harsh and unforgiving world
So, at that moment, he did what he felt was right for him
Zekki's decision to prioritize his personal happiness and stay with Zukii might have brought moments of contentment, but even so, restoring the time crystals could still have unforeseen consequences
He could foresee himself being forever known as "the guy who restored time crystals" or something
Clearly a title that Zekki would have liked very much yes
---
If you think about it, every timeline would be accessible with the power of time crystals restored, but Zekki would still want to destroy them anyways xD
---
I'm still trying to decide how the time machine works exactly
I was thinking something like, since time crystals have the property to store time, it could be used to restore a certain point in history and somehow alter the chain of events to create a new timeline
Another idea is to link a specific object from a previous time, and by making changes in the present, it would ripple back to the past, hence the retrocausal effect
Either way, he would have to identify the critical moment in history when time crystals were first discovered
These changes included altering research records, influencing the decisions of key individuals involved in time crystal research, and even altering the very creation of time crystals?? (which I haven't figured out yet)
WHAT IF, Zekki (from the future) was responsible of sending that one signal about the time crystals being destroyed in a future time
Why would he do that tho? Idk, we will never know what happened to future Zekki,,,
But that means that the story is actually told from the past, and you only realize till Veik receives that signal from the future (but he doesn't know yet)
What if you receive a signal from your future self? But the real question is, how far does the future go?
How do you know that you're truly experiencing the present, there has to be a point where you stop receiving the signals
If so, you could figure out your position in time, and maybe find out that your existence is just one tiny infinitesimal point on the vast continuum of time
temporal existencial crisis aaaaaa
