Alcohol: What do you do to prevent crap-iety?

Anything y'all do to mitigate the negative effects of alcohol? It could be a hangover prevention, something to prevent you from feeling extra groggy in the morning or anything in general to protect your body from its negative effects.

I drink one glass of water for every glass of beer or alcohol.

I have a lot of water and some minerals pills (called Basica in Germany) or just junk food aka fat and salt before I sleep.
