v0.13 Progress Report 2/11/25

Good morning! Time for another update :D

Coding

Our new programmer is still reviewing everything and trying to calibrate themselves. It's a lot of game to play, but they have already made a ton of amazing suggestions and ways to make the game run smoother. Once they get acclimated, they can begin working.

A lot of the coding involved connecting the scripts for v0.13 to the map. The scenes aren't fully connected yet, but Notos has been linked to the map and works well! Today, I hope to test the scenes.

Animation

Another scene for v0.13 was completed and looks fantastic! We now need only 2 more animations for the new content in v0.13. The other animator is working on the latest batch of redo animations.

Sprites

The progress bar moved back because we have a new Customer tier member. Now, we need to draw six Customers! Kokman has sketches for four customers and the tutorial character, which will likely be done by next week.

Misc. Assets

As you may have seen, I announced that Torch is one of our guest artists. They are creating beautiful portraits of the seven main love interests. As of this week, they have finished Hazel, Jeze, Robbie, Jeze, and Maki.

Another guest artist finished the eight pieces they were commissioned, and I'll show them off at some point. But they are for a revamped character gallery screen.

Writing

I have not been writing new material. I have been taking a break and working on personal projects. Once I can play the scenes, I will start rewriting and editing. I need to edit the lewd scenes since the animations no longer fit.

Conclusion

Things are looking good! The art is being completed, the sprites are in progress, the coding is being worked on, and our new team member is getting up to speed.

I hope we can start refining the episode once the scenes are playable.
