People talking about the writing like this isn't a fucking death game lmao, character arcs don't happen much when there's 6-8 episodes a season and only one person can survive. If this were something like a drama series about love or crime, sure you can make it poetic, but in a death game most deaths aren't poetic and people just get killed. It's realistic, which is how it should be and what makes it thrilling to watch. Ngl tho they fuckin up Gi-hun so much LMAO they're mad asf about that uprising

2025-07-06 04:09:34 +0000 UTCThis episode just felt so stupid in terms of writing. Some characters just had unprovoked character changes from out of nowhere. Myung-gi who is just being like "yeah lets go on a murdering rampage with this guy who has threatened the person I love" and Hyun-ju being like "I'm an ex-marine but I'll just have my back turned whilst people are going around murdering others because I need to monologue.... fuck my surroundings" They also did Yong-sik and Geum-ja dirty as well, all the emotional pay off just wasn't there because they had a goofy moment of Gi-hun getting a 5 inch blade shot directly out of his hand from someone standing about 30-40ft away from him. This episode was probably the worse of the series, and the number of deaths in it should've been top tier but they fumbled the ball.
