She would rather live in the hood until she earns her way out herself. They're not married yet so she would feel bad taking money from her boyfriend. It's not dudes fault that's just how she is. And she was kinda mad because if he really knew her then he would know that's how she is. He's a good dude though.

2025-06-28 21:29:17 +0000 UTCThe relationship hasn’t ended they just had an argument and I do understand both sides he comes from a place of privilege so he only sees the neighborhood at face value but she sees the ordinary people and families like her and how much her family sacrificed for her and he didn’t actually have a plan to make her life better. You def see his privilege when he means you deserve better or just move somewhere else so I definitely get her cuz that’s not easy. Their relationship is very dynamic so they haven’t broken up just had an argument. Plus he’s been in military service so he literally comes back from time to time it’s not a constant thing that they see each other’s lives yet

He judged them without really understanding, which is why Geumyeong took it personally. It’s not that he had bad intentions, he was genuinely concerned about her, but it did highlight the fact that they come from very different backgrounds. Also. they didn’t break up or anything, she was just offended and needed a bit of space. Their relationship has always been kind of on and off anyway.
