He loves them for just being them and accepts all their wild quirks. Any normal person wouldn't be able to handle one of his girlfriends, but Rentarou is built different.

2025-03-24 22:11:46 +0000 UTCEven though it's not as dramatic as Hakari Rescue arc that ended season 1 this is a 'serious' arc, it was 3 chapters in the manga and is essentially dealing with Karane's insecurities just in the most goofy anime way possible. Also, this is the first time I think they legit were not allowed to show what was in the manga in the anime which is surprising after the tentacle hair episode, cause we def saw what was happening behind the bathroom door with Karane and Hikari, they were covered in soap but still. Good reference note of where the production company will draw the line. Animator said on twitter they pixelated the whole screen and still got rejected, Hikari x Karane yuri is too strong.
