I don't think Martin is Randall...I do think that Julie has gone to the past several times though. In episode 2 of season 1, when they first arrive in town and are running at night up to colony house, one of the monsters said her name and said don't you recognize me? Julie has gone to the past several times and probably met some of the monsters and Martin before he was tied up but her present doesn't remember what adventures she's done in the past. I'm excited for things we may see and learn from Julie's adventures to the past, especially getting more answers about Fromville.

Jim over here thinking he a villain from Cobra Kai, or a fkn villain from a B movie, wtf was that. Jim has turned into a massive L (pretty much always was, actually)..

2025-03-02 06:32:32 +0000 UTCI think the Martin guy was a part of a group of survivors that came there after victor but before Jim&Co but victor probably doesn’t know anything about them because he hid for most of the years not trusting anybody. They mentioned that the melody and they “come for three” happened before and that’s why Martin didn’t what whatever was inside Julie&Co to be released into the town cause his group went through the same thing. I think whatever was inside them released into the town but they kept Martin alive for some reason(maybe to give Boyd the worms) and it seems it’s a separate entity from the Monsters at night, cause they were confused as well. It looks like all the “nightmares” have the same goal to kill everyone in town but how they go about it is different. Also the “dungeon” area and the caves seem to have some kind of temporal distortion cause it to fluctuate throughout space and time. That would explain why Martin knew about everyone in town, the invisible entity’s also talk to him like Sarah. I think once you have a deep enough connection to Fromville you start to hear voices and see things.

2025-02-27 20:49:54 +0000 UTCI saw something along the lines earlier of "Jim is Jade if he abandoned that drive and determination to figure stuff out--if he had just given up and let the failures weigh him down" At first, I was worried if Jade was going to lose his mind like others, and maybe he still will, but now it's just heartbreaking to see Jim like this. Jade keeps trying after failed attempts, Jim loses it and clings to what he has left, wanting people to follow that. And it's not like I blame him completely, because it breaks you down, but he cannot simply force people into that line of thinking.

In my opinion, of the townspeople, Sara is kind of paying her dues in regards to what she did. She first killed her actual loved one, which I believe had to have impacted her far more than the other townspeople (but was never considered/addressed) and she is basically the only one who has had to continue facing the aftermath of her situation, in comparison to the others. Abby, the father/husband from episode 1, and the guy with the weird cartoon voice who lost his wife in Sara's old house didn't have to learn to live on being the "most hated" person in town. I think this shouldn't be swept under the rug, and it should be known who did this, especially since so many key people in town know the truth. They'd look crazy to accept Fatima killing Tillie, but still hating and blaming Sara for all bad things not done by the monsters.

Donna seems to be a more stern leader willing to do what needs to be done even with her emotions in the way. Fatima needs to DIE and know? If others lose control of themselves well they ALSO need to DIE. Sara’s situation was different because she was manipulated, she could still be spoken to and reasoned with, it just had to take some time. Fatima on the other hand, she CANNOT control her body anymore.

And to the point about the colony house attack, I think it was WAY WORSE for that guy to purposefully let one of the monsters in knowing it was probably one of them than for Fatima to accidentally kill Tillie because of something inside of her. And Acosta has proven to be angry, trigger happy, and unreliable so far so I get keeping her in the dark. I don’t have faith in the townspeople being understanding and waiting for them to explain what happened because of how angry and stressed everyone already is. And Boyd has been keeping them alive with keeping the food supply and at least trying to maintain order while everyone else just complains and sits around. They could help. But honestly I have no faith in any of the town once they learn the truth, they won’t want to hear excuses or explanations they’ll just want punishment even though plenty of them have probably had to make hard choices ever since they’ve been there
