Having seen Jugram being chosen by Yhwach long ago, killed Bazz inside. Aiming to kill Yhwach and thus fighting Jugram now, killed Bazz for real. "I always thought I'd be more frustrated when you finally beat me." i believe they were each other's only friends. they had different upbringings and personalities and young Bazz B had a bit of ego because of his status but he also was kind and tried to help jugram when they were kids. I think Bazz B's ego was hurt when Yhwach chose Jugram which put a strain on their friendship as Jugram thought Bazz B resented him for that and Bazz B thought Jurgen left him behind but they still cared about each other. Bazz B matured and was ready to follow Jugram as a leader, he got upset for his sake when Yhwach announced Uryu as a successor as he only saw Jugram as deserving, he still called him Jugo (familiarly) until the end and eventually was ready to accept defeat by his hands. Even though Jugram didn’t warn him about Auswahlen, Bazz still called him a friend till the end.

Jugo does value Bazz as a friend, but he's torn between his duty to Yhwach and puts that first. That's why he's so interested in Uryu because he's in a similar situation to him (the successor of the Quincy who betrayed his friends). I think one of the reasons he follows Yhwach is because he gave him so self-worth - remember he's a quincy without the quincy power and probably felt like he was useless, ergo him training harder to compensate.

But he knows its gonna take a whole lot more than just pulling up and jumping him. I kinda agree with roshi where I think he is waiting until Yhwach don't got the almighty eyes. The part that is making it hard to predict though, is that Yhwach killed his uncle. So I genuinely think he has a level of gratitude towards Yhwach. But Idon't think he ever forgot about Bazz B's goal. So I actually think he is trying to kill Yhwach. Same with Uryu

2024-12-24 03:00:18 +0000 UTCI'm starting to think that Jugram was the one who killed his abusive uncle. I don't know if you caught it, but there were implications that Jugram was also being SA'd. If you watch the part where they are showing Jugram's bruised arms and then later when the uncle arrives - he's far too obsessive and calls Jugram "precious". This is generally a pet name for someone you have romantic feelings for. Then, immediately after that flash back we see a large hole punctured in a nearby wall. Implying that the relationship wasn't just physically abusive. I think it's more logical to believe that the uncle found out that Jugram made friends and Jugram was forced to defend himself. Later, he used the king as a convenient excuse. It's also possible that Jugram may actually have feelings for Bazz B, as both his only friend or maybe something more. I do not think Bazz B is dead, just like I don't think Ren'ji is dead. Bazz B could cauterize his wounds with his power (he still has 1 hand). Of course this is all speculation, I'm just saying its far more likely than you might believe that Jugram might still harbor a reason to harm the king. One really just needs a strong enough reason.

At the end of the day they were both legitimate best friends and Jugo willingly came along with Bazz and wanted to help out Bazz up until Ywach made him his right hand man and Bazz's jealousy came out. Kubo even emphasized this by making their Schrifts the initials of each other's names and Jugo clearly did not want to kill Bazz at the end cause even if their friendship is kinda done now he still had care for him due to their genuine bond before.

Yhwach even did him a favour by killing his abusive uncle so it makes sense why he trusts his judgement and follows him dearly bc he saved him from a terrible family situation and they’re the same kind of Quincy too.

In my mind, he joined for one thing and one thing only - he's tryna run the fade on Yhwach for killing his mother. But, that also gives this story some interesting dynamics. For example, earlier on Bazz B confronted Jugram when Ishida arrived, asking him why he was okay with Ishida being made the successor. If Jugram seemed unbothered. If he still planned to kill Yhwach, it could be one reason why he wasn't upset. I'm getting some Professor Snape vibes now.

2024-12-24 00:54:23 +0000 UTCVery nice story telling on Jugram and Bazz's backstory. Very beautiful showing that as cool as Bazz-B is, well was, he was kind of a fraud. He only made friends with Jugo because he was a big headed, cocky little kid who thought too big of himself and saw Jugo as pathetic and thought to just force himself into Jugo's life as a friend all to feel superior. He used the tragedy at his clan as an excuse to FORCE Jugo into going on a crusade with him to kill Ywach, not even really giving Jugo's feelings into account. He didn't even bother asking Jugo about how he felt on the matter with Jugo's uncle getting killed, having no idea about the physical, mental and sexual abuse he was getting from that scum. Like I love the FRIEND story because in reality Bazz-B was a fraud that I wouldn't even call a friend if you think about what he's been doing with Jugram the whole time. Stringing him along in his crusade for revenge, feeling superior the whole time, thinking not leaving him behind made him a good person but then he start to hate him the second Jugo was recognized as something bette which got in the way of his revenge scheme. RIP Bazz-B, you were a cool character, but a terrible friend.

The Aushwalen affected all the Quincies that he’s interacted with and come to know.

All Quincy’s are a descendant of him, remember 200 years ago was when the soul reapers attempted to while out all of the quincies for good. So it makes sense that the survivors may not have all the info. Big Y fought Yamamoto 800 years before all the surviving quincies likely retreated to that place. That place also was the thing that existed in the shadow of soul society I believe. Unless, does this episode imply that all the quincies along with Yhwatch are hundreds of years old too? Unless I’m completely wrong. But considering that his Auswalen affected every Quincy, that does mean all of them are related to him.

2024-12-23 23:18:29 +0000 UTCThis episode sheds light on the subtitles of this cour “The Conflict” (much like Ep 11 for cour 1 & Ep 24 for cour 2 as the set ups for their finales) between not just main characters Ichigo & Uyru but also a parallel between those of the same race: Jugram (Haschwalth) whose schrift is "B", while Bazzard Black’s (Bazz B) is "H" paralleling from each other as the Balanced Heat/Heat of Balance since B & H are located opposite sides of “Bleach” with Yhwach’s shrift “A” sitting between them. Now based on how Bazz-B talked about when Yhwach appeared, just like with all factions of races and winners of war that write their own history, this sheds light on the that the Quincys existed long before even Yhwach who created his own faction and annihilated anyone who opposed him as the Hitler version of Jesus, implying that not all Quincys are his inheritors or descendants. He's a conquering warlord, Bazz-B's family was the former ruling nobility. Standard practice. This in reference to how not all Germans were Nazis, and those would’ve been opposed, overshadowed and deserted the Nazi Germany regime rule. In regards to the further context subtleties between their conflict and for those that didn’t notice, Jugram had an uncle diddy who also physically abused him so when Yhwach destroyed these opposing Quincy factions which included his uncle, although he didn’t emotionally show it, he was relieved as he was freed from that traumatic childhood life. This is the reason why Jugram followed Yhwach since he felt indebted to him. Bazz B thought they both had the same goal of revenge but he didn’t understand what Jugram went through, and of course was forced to join after learning that he’s Yhwach’s other half as a Quincy who gives others powers rather than takes them like the rest as the average Quincy.
