The show was pretty clear about Kendall being 100% clean at the start of the show. I believe the ipad incident was the "final straw"/reason Kendall and Rava separated, then Kendall legitimately got clean and wanted to get back together with Rava, but Rava never gave Kendall a second chance. She never really supported Kendall or even believed him that he got clean, even though from what we have seen, he legitimately got clean and wanted to be with Rava and his kids again.... before Logan running fake news on him, which Rava believed and which caused Kendall to do drugs again, which has now led to his downfall. And the conversation was not about being amicable, from that conversation we got, it was more "you put on your smile and act polite while your lawyers fucking me over, and you expect me to play along like usual because I like that kind of stuff" which is why I think her smile/amicable thing is completely fake. She said "I know you, you can talk to me about anything" and not even 20 seconds of him being real with her, she walks away, cause she was being fake and Kendall finally let the dam of emotions/thoughts burst and let her know what he really thought, and she couldn't handle it. I do believe Kendall was a pretty hardcore junkie before the show and Rava separating was reasonable, to be fair, but my issue is I don't think she ever believed him that he got clean, which he really did. Like I believe he said he was 3 years sober near the beginning of the show, correct me if I am wrong. Rava treating him almost like a junkie the entire time, even with 3 years sober was too much for me. (I am tryna see if I can fact check myself, so hang on, lol. Okay yeah, I am pretty sure he was sober for 3 fkn years at the beginning of the show, before he went on drugs again cause of Logan and Rava not letting him see his kids)

I mean tbh Rava is not entitled to immediately trust a drug addict around her kids again. She has been more than patient with him and she wasn't even keeping him away despite finding out he was using around their children. She is setting boundaries which is necessary with addicts. Also, why are we assuming that the drug use that prompted the separation was even the first time. Nine times out of ten Rava probably knew Kendall had an issue and warned him multiple times. The amount of coddling people do for Kendall is crazy, that's a grown man and he is barely even an active parent in the first place judging by the pilot.

Kendall had been clear about how he fkd up and had cleaned up his act, I think people do deserve a second chance, and I think Kendall had gotten his shit together after that ipad coke incident, but Rava never gave him a second chance, or trusted him ever again. (I guess from her point of view it is fair, but for us the viewers we see more aspects/multiple angles, so we can come to different conclusions about that) For example: I think the one conversation that was the most telling about Kendall and Rava's actual relationship was.. like 2 episodes ago during the Reception (night before the wedding) after he comes out of the bathroom after doing coke and runs into Rava and he is real with her about why his lawyers were "stonewalling" her lawyers, and how she is always smiling and polite because Kendall is "weak" to that and prolly how Rava gets her way. It is not her actual self, she is not the nice/good person she puts on display for us and Kendall. At least that is what I thought, from that incident and then thinking about their interactions so far in the show.
