She didn’t like her at all and her opinion about Jinx overall was pretty negative. I think viewers find certain aspects about Jinx unappealing or think her acts of villainy completely trump the intriguing aspects her character has. Though by season 2, she also turned around on her character and actually likes her a bit more now. I think humanizing Jinx and giving her purpose compared to season 1 where she did so for the approval and validation for her loved ones made her more likable. I’ve always liked Jinx, but I find it interesting that there’s a lot of people who didn’t like her at all even though she’s arguably the most interesting character in the show.

The shimmer is to mirror hextech, it is a dangerous and bad in the wrong use but it can also be an amazing healing thing that helps cure very bad injuries even close to death AND increases all your bodily capabilities like strength, speed and endurance(as we saw Jinx survive from near death and is now very strong and fast). After Vander died Silco actually held the place together and was slowly improving it all. Vander was good and all but he was not making any advancements to Zaun at all. It was just a stale city under the control of piltover with no advancements happening for Zaun.

Singed was involved in Warwick's reworked lore as the scientist who created him. Warwick also got new voice line interactions and weird enough he got very strange and vague as hell voice lines toward Jinx and Vi saying "You were there..." at Jinx and "Who taught you how to punch?" at Vi. Mind you ... this Warwick overhaul happened in 2017, SEVEN YEARS AGO. Arcane didn't come out til 2021. So when Vander was in the mix, people quickly put together that he might be Warwick, especially after the final episode of Arcane season 1 when they showed Singed having some monster man propped up in his lab like he did Warwick in an official art piece of the two. Though really, Vander being Warwick was strictly a theory with no confirmation from any source ( that I know of ) the entire time ... until this episode confirming it now. They had this planned for a really, really long time y'all but a lot of us ( LoL players I mean ) saw this coming for 3 years and here it is finally aired out.

I personally never blamed her for anything, maybe that’s stupid of me but when you’re stuck in this idea of being the thing that only makes everyone’s lives worse and are constantly are fighting with your own head about it you aren’t really gonna behave rationally… she never saw herself as having any agency (“because you’re a jinx!”) which basically prevented her from ever improving. This conversation has for sure happened a million times already but I keep thinking about her character and it’s all just… so goddamn well done. Not just with her but everything. We never deserved a show this good.

Silco was just making drugs that just had some crazy side effects. Singed is doing human experiments that don't seem to tie to *just* shimmer. So I'm pretty sure Silco himself had nothing to do with this beast.
