2024-10-30 03:33:51 +0000 UTCWe are getting close to the end, but after the Chroma Conclave arc, we have a solid chunk of personal quests/side quests that are great character growths and moments that I hope gets fleshed out including a fan favorite character who has a solid role in the upcoming events of the show which should be included in the show. Then it is up to Critical role if they want to extend the final arc of the entire campaign to 2 seasons because there is a lot of lore and character moments that takes a long time to get through. Personally I think 6 seasons would be the perfect place to wrap up everything and include enough to make the story fit well from beginning to end. But 5 seasons isn't a bad thing either just I think we will miss out on some really great moments/characters that bring a nice amount to the table.

No, Keyleth is definitely wrong sometimes and her biggest flaw outside of her naivety and insecurity is her blind rage—but the reaction to her being wrong vs. anyone else being wrong by the fandom was painful to watch. All of the female players got excessively harsh criticism to some extent, but especially her, for various stupid reasons. The cast themselves like to point it out to this very day, and a whole lot of Keyleth’s MVP moments in the show seem like they’re specifically made to show Marisha some love after how she was treated in the game.

They objectively had no other way/plan to kill Thordak and she was being genuinely useful to them with info and holding him at bay for as long as she could. So Keyleth never actually had a valid case. THEY, kept messing up the opportunities and took every chance to deflect blame to her rather than any kind of accountability just like the this time as well. (The debacle with Ripley and the chest plate for example) She failed to provide an adequate case + any kind of an alternative in a nigh apocalyptic situation. Sorry “I hate/don’t trust” her is NOT enough. And yall keep throwing betrayal around as if the point of the very established temp truce wasn’t to “Kill Thordak” which was achieved and she objectively had a substantial role in.

He was like 5 min from wiping out all life in Emon before Pike saved the day. What they should've done is just betray Raishan the second she runs out of usefullness because fuck honor when she has killed thousands of innocents without batting an eye, she clearly doesn't deserve mercy or fairness. So they were both right and wrong in a way, but Keyleth is overly bitter here.

The hate train was atrocious and it was like she couldn’t do anything right in the eyes of those people. • Sheera’s actually right I believe; Uvenda (the short and critical one) is the leader of the Water Ashari (Keyleth and her family are Air) and a good friend of Keyleth’s mother in her youth. • This whole earth seeing ritual is entirely unique to the show, so I honestly have no clue where they’re going with this! So are Scanlan’s coma, Percy’s prolonged death, and Pike’s magic blood, tbh — although the Pike thing could very well be canon and just not something they got to explore because Ashley was gone so often, idk.
