The fact that it's so much worse than season 1 and any other top-tier sports manga adaptation is also only going to hurt the overall Blue Lock brand. Nearly everyone loved Joker 1 and Joaquin Phoenix as his own Joker but now that Joker 2 is mostly hated people write the whole franchise off including the first one. The same thing happens with shows like these. Bunch of people also wrote slime off after season 3 (Which was also done by 8bit btw like Blue Lock).
