Roshi, I had to eat crow on Dungeon Meshi too. I read the early manga chapters before the anime came out and it was lookin like a recipe for disaster. But I kept hearing about how the story was cooking, so I let it stew for a bit and went back to read the rest when I got my appetite back. Can now confirm that the author is raw, and while the story starts off with a simmer, the later parts really start to stir up the imagination and the ending serves up some real food for thought. Anyway, watch Dandadan when it comes out.

This is totally alright, I have stopped watching the anime too. Even though I am a big time fan of Tower of god and read every manhwa chapter that come's every week. Hope you can give the comic a try and really enjoy it as the story telling is really good.

The animation is pretty bad but I think the biggest problem is the directing. There's a lot of episodes that are just cut in ways that make it real hard to tell what's going on if you haven't already read the manwha. It just isn't a very good product.

Future suggestions as I know we are full for a few months: Iron Blooded Orphans and Guilty Crown. Unsure if you watched IBO before you started reactions, but it is just incredible especially for reaction content. Guilty Crown maybe universally panned by true anime lovers, but fuck is it eterntaining, Beautiful to look at and hear, as well as be super reactable (just think about that scene where US major Dave tried to bomb a yacht😅😅😂😂)

People have been saying it’s the animation and pacing. As an anime only, I personally haven’t had issues with the pacing. But I can definitely understand the complaints about the animation.

As a ToG fan, I'll say it's for the best to drop then if it stays that quality. Fall is stacked to hell with good shows, and ToG s2 hasn't even matched up to the trailers of most of those. I think finishing out the cour then dropping is the best solution for most of us
