Most people would argue with Sakura and say things like "no you're totally thin/pretty enough", that can feel invalidating. Remi knows how to comfort her without being reductive, and she knows Hori responds well to provocation. She's a bit messy but not malicious

No super geniuses trying to one up each other, beating around the bush for multliple eps or seasons, overly specific/exaggerated circumstance that draws the duo together and no supernatural nonsense either . NOT saying i prefer it to be basic like this show I just feel there isnt alot of simple romances that I feel similar to this. Actually I ended up remembering 3 shows that Ill just put here cause fk it. -Aight time to join the rest: Comment #17 World trigger Dan machi -The other 3 are much shorter with 12-13 eps?: My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 Yamada-kun and the 7 witches (Last 2-3 last eps feels like a rushed/read the manga type ending but still interesting/fun premise regardless. If they actually adapted the full manga it would be amazing I feel for how it really ended) Boarding School Juliet (Not as rushed as an ending but it does still feel lt. As the title sounds its very similar to the love story that everyone should know but) -And for a movie: The anthem of the heart (HELLA HIGHLY LOVED THE MOVIE ESPECIALLY AFTER THINKING ABOUT THE ENDING)
