Thats the whole point of the last few episodes is explaining where its coming from and it was heavily hitted at being important since episode 1. Besides that, I also was waiting on them to explain about Zeus, but your wrong. He is the only God who was mortal at some point. I think think that they will go into his backstory more in season 2 so we will probably get our answers then, but I am guessing that it has something to do with his father. Maybe he stripped Zeus of his divinity at one point making him mortal or something. Idk, but its not too big of an issue for me rn. Other than that I cant think of any big plot holes or mysteries left unchecked. Maybe its just because I was obsessed with Greek mythology as a kid, but I had no problems following the plot or the story. What parts of the world did you not understand? Because it seemed pretty easy to follow for me.

2024-09-04 12:54:39 +0000 UTCHere's the thing about this show: it explains almost fucking nothing due to terrible writing decisions. Besides the main stories of modern interpretations of the Journey of Orpheus, the Labyrinth of Minos, and the Tragedy of Ceaneus, nothing about the settings are explained well enough to be considered a competent show. Like for instance why the gods are immortal when they were born as humans (said during first episode so not a spoiler), its implied it's the meander, a source of water which is still not explained by the end of the season even though it had some more importance suddenly on the last episode. The acting is good, but fucking issue is the writing for this show horrible tbh especially since you shouldn't write a show assuming it's going to get a second season (if nothing is confirmed) when you're boss is Netflix. 🤷♂️ this show makes me frustrated after watching

2024-09-03 09:44:55 +0000 UTCI'm watching it right now (on ep 6) and it's pretty good and knowing them they would enjoy it alot HOWEVER we're like 1 month away from the fall season the kick off and they have 6 weekly shows and 3 other animes so in total 9 animes plus the movies and the korea drama shows. Maybe next year winter since they only gonna watch Sakomoto Days, 100 girlfriend and Solo Levling s2 (most likely to came out in winter) and even the following anime season is not THAT packed or even less since the only BIG is coming out is Fire Force s3 (part 1), Witch Watch and that is it. lol To be fair we have animes that don't have a full release date just the year that they came out (2025) so that could change it but as of right now it's not packed yet.

I really hope they actually continue through with it because it was *so good.* Loved the casting, loved the twists with the myths and stories and how the things worked. Just a good set of world building and story overall. I also finished it today (Labor Day) so thats funny haha.

Hopefully, they'll watch it someday. The upcoming Fall 2024 anime season is super packed, so I think they're trying to keep the schedule open.
