2024-09-03 15:50:23 +0000 UTCThe hero’s typically never use lethal power im assuming his scream can be raised to a level that even koro and shiggy eardrums would burst killing them instantly or guaranteeing he can’t revive once they had the full story of what he was becoming safer to not leave much of his body able to function and like I said he walked away so we ll never know what he was capable of doing he handed it off to some random hero and I didn’t even think was in the top 10. Couldn’t have been endeavor or hawks or rabbit girl they would they would have made sure the job was done

2024-09-03 00:02:42 +0000 UTCbut like it was shown AFO created the fear and controlled people for his own gain. he used discrimination as another route to his goal. he makes people fight thinking they are the true justice. but i get you if they had shown this early in the mnag it would have like action from the beginning finally erupted but seeing it at the end felt weird. like I and a lot of people would love if the tall thicc green bunny person deku saved in his emo vigilante days had been showed earlier and maybe some chapters of her dealing with people treating her bad because of her looks and then seeing her being saved by deku and add some more chapter of the heteromorphs having issue with people subtly being racist this would have been better but i guess hori only knows what he searched, he doesn't have close relationships viewpoints of how racist people can be petty to actually killing people for not having the "skin" according to their views.

The manga has better lead up, but the weekly releases plus the timing away made it less well received. And while the anime gives the moment better pacing, it didn't give the right lead up due to scenes being cut and rearranged.

I can see what the author was going for, but there just wasn't enough groundwork placed in earlier seasons to pull off such a serious subplot. That being said, I really liked Shoji vs. Spinner, so that part was a success.

It didn't annoy me in the manga but it annoyed me here in the anime. And the weather lady pulling out that sign had me cracking up laughing! They said "Cut to commercial! Cut to commercial!" LOL! While that scene was in the manga, the anime added the part of her pulling out that sign!
