It reminds me of what All Might said a few seasons back, something to the effect of "I hate that about you, the way that you laugh as you toy with people's lives". I have no doubt that OFA probably gave Spinner a quirk combination that will cause him to lose all reason and eventually die.

Like we got a bit of that in Season 6 (which should’ve taken place in Season 5 before they raided that house back then), but it was too damn short. Just glossed over in a flashback sequence… this would’ve hit harder just like the Todoroki arc from Season 2. Oh well, better late than never I guess….

2024-08-26 21:43:08 +0000 UTCI wish the discrimination against heteromorphs had been an issue we were made aware of much sooner (like during the first or second season) rather than something they only just mentioned 1 - 2 seasons ago. In my opinion, this episode would have hit WAY harder if the series built up to this longer, like they did with the Todoroki family drama. I think the moments with Shoto, Toya, and Endeavor really pops off because MHA played the long game, revealing bits and pieces of the situation as the series progressed. That's not to say this episode didn't move me, but I think the payoff could have been way stronger with earlier world building (and if Spinner's past hadn't been skipped during My Villain Academia).
