It doesn’t make sense for Aemond to intentionally not care about the people in his own city to be starving though….. They have shown him to be smart/strategic, like cutting down the rat catcher bodies during his first meeting as Prince Regent. Like Aemond is shown to be smart many times in the show, in an early episode he saw the coins on the floor and figured out that he was the original target for the assassination. Aemond also helped/made the plan to set up a trap to kill Rhaenys, etc. So NO it doesn’t make sense for Aemond to seem like he didn’t care about the people in his own city starving and risking an outright rebellion... The show is just doing a terrible job. and giving the food that is for the Dragons.. to the smallfolk is fkn stupid, like I already said.

Yeah, I think the show is just doing a bad job showing the planning and plotting. They been wasting screen time showing Daemon wandering around in his nightmares every single episode. I will say though, that I do not believe that Aemond is not concerned about the people starving, or that he is not trying to help them. I believe the show is just doing a bad job with it, they should have showed if there was a way to help the smallfolk with food, or if it was really impossible to give them food without breaking through Rhaenyra's blockade.

i really resent how quick people are to judge alicent’s parenting… especially when they give viserys a pass. alicent was still a child (15) when she had aegon and only 20 years old when she had her last son, and she basically had to raise her children alone because viserys was a useless parent who only loved and cared for rhaenyra. when alicent saw how viserys, her children’s father, ignored aemond’s eye mutilation and tried to resolve the issue with “they’re just kids” otto’s words about rhaenyra wanting to kill her children cemented in her brain. it’s no wonder her only child raised outside of the red keep is kind and well-adjusted. he didn’t grow up in such hostile environment. could alicent have been more loving to her children? absolutely! but she never experienced that from her father either so she doesn’t know how to be loving. you can even see how otto’s parenting was passed down to alicent in tbe back-to-back scenes of ep2 when otto ignored her when she needed comfort and alicent ignored aegon when he was crying. alicent did her best in an environment where her own father filled her head with fears of her children being in danger and viserys constantly cemented them. alicent is a very pitiful character

Sheera the Dragons at Dragonstone arent forced to be in there. They leave and come as they please, Seasmoke has a habit of leaving dragonstone to go fly out, he literally leaves home, takes a lap around driftsmark his former home with Laenor(Rhaenys Son) then comes back. The other Dragons Silverwing and Vorm had bonds before but they are like Generations ago bonds. Also the Dragons all have human like unique personalities, if you watch the Dragons each character has has personality traits that mimic their rider.

How much better would it have been if they had taken out the Daemon mom pussy eating scene and showed the Blackwoods stealing the Brackens wives and children seeing this plan go horribly wrong in real time watching the Blackwoods going too far setting the realm to the torch and killing the peasants under Daemon's orders waving Rhaenyra's banners while doing it. I wasn't feeling the kissing scene at the end. It felt forced and Unnecessary, Rhaenyra's trusted Mysaria way too quickly. Also the writers decision to not kill Laenor like in the books has proven to be another unneeded change, it's only caused confusion in the dragon riders lore. The showrunner and writers needed to have Daemon and Rhaenyra get married but she was already we'd to Laenor so instead of just conspiring to assassinate him they go with the convoluted plan they showed. For whatever reason Rhaenyra can't be seen as doing anything problematic, she's lost her edge from the books.
