Her only mistakes as a mother is not noticing the level of bullying he suffered. Also being codependent on him as he grew. Aside from that, she worked herself to the bone in order to make sure he had a good chance in life, which he did. He is largely the one who became obsessed with nonhuman romance relationships that pushed him over the end. Her behavior now is crazy but that's because of the shock of her son's death, but as a mother she was fine. Everyone has to also take into account that she is not the viewer (tv watcher) and didn't see his behavior and murder. Last thing she remember is a soft spoken kid. So of course she will be in some degree of denial.

Also, now hear me out but I would also like it if you guys could react to MLP too. It's not a bad show and shows that have as crazy of a fan base as MLP isn't just for show something about the show is good(all of it). But that's just me putting my thoughts out there. 2023-10-12 20:00:36 +0000 UTCA lot of people think doing the bare minimum or what you’re supposed to do as a parent makes you a good parent or person and that’s not the case at all, so many shows and movies have this weird “they’re flawed but that’s your parent” trope going on and the “flaw” is being downright abusive and irredeemable I actually hate that it’s normalized

She's not a terrible mom, but she still talked down to her son, was largely absent during him growing up (leading in part to his point addiction) and refused to accept the reality of her son being a murderer and not all that great of a guy
