Just in the previous scene when he asks about yui’s lap blanket, yui realizes that he is also attentive towards what’s happening in her life.

Yui literally has pink hair. Totsuka has white/silver. Yumiko is kinda just queen bee more than Gyaru tho she def has those traits for one

And your reasoning for why you like saki fits better for yumiko. Saki is not a gyaru. I dont know how youd get the idea but i guess maybe because he hair is depicted as a light color. But thats a stylistic choice for the illustrations to make her more visiually distinct from other characters. Her hair is actually described as black with a bluish tint, similar to how yuis hair is actually light brown with a pinkish tint and not fully peach.

2023-06-03 06:52:16 +0000 UTCYou know what also makes the situation worse for Yui since neither Hikki or Yuki or in the headspace to date right now or admit their feelings (I feel Yuki heavily implied she wanted to get her shit together before figuring out relationship stuff in the first episode) Yui is now feeling sometimes like the unofficial third wheel since they aren’t technically dating and that makes it kind of hard to except that she doesn’t have a chance since Hikki hasn’t chosen anyone yet. It’s a little bit of parallel to Iroha since Hayama isn’t dating, anyone her feelings can’t really end like they normally would since there is still a chance.

Honestly you hit the nail on the head with your description of Iroha cause I never really gave any thought to why I like her more than the others but she really is the best of both Yukino and Yui, it's unfortunate that Hikigaya met her after meeting the other two cause I sincerely believe if she was the same age as Hikigaya then maybe they could spend more time together and he would see her as a potential girlfriend.

Both twisted in their own way but she has that outgoing personality that pushes him to do stuff, similar to Yui but Iroha is more conniving and slick with it. Shes able to banter along with him like Yukino so shes essentially a mix of both of the main heroines. For me, Saki is best girl despite the lack of screentime. Im a sucker for gyaru characters have a rough exterior but also the big sister/motherly vibe to them.
