January's Start of the Month Update!

Time flies so fast, it's incredible!
As always, here's the Start of the Month post for starting things good and give a quick update of things that happened so far and things to come!

For this post, a few things have been planned to be shared: 

• A quick word for celebrating being back for you all after a crazy school semester
• The new Monthly Theme
• A quick update about the Lazycouch Server
• New planned art and commissions!

First of all, with a very busy month with school and family parties here and there in December, I can definitely say in a very happy way I'm back in action after some of the busiest months I had yet! Truly happy to jump back in the fun here, won't lie I truly missed every single of you!

On another crazy note, I have to announce you all after December ended, 6 months have passed since the creation of this Patreon page! I just can't believe how time passed so fast and how lots of crazy things have been made since the creation of this page!

Second topic now, the new Monthly Theme!
After seeing all the votes for those crazy ideas you all decided for last poll, I am glad to announce the Nerdy Macros theme won the poll! I feel it's time to make the geekiest giants show up for going all out nerdy ;) !

The new poll will be created soon enough today, for showing some themes the Lazycouch people decided to have around for February Theme's poll! This poll will be up until January 31 11:59PM EST! Lots of time to vote for everyone!

Third topic time! A quick update about the Lazycouch and a big thank you to all those who joined so far!

I can't help but thank you all for joining this big crazy server, seeing it growing over time since its creation has my mind being completely blown! In the space of 6 months, the server reached 36 users and seems to still have more coming joining the fun!

A few updates have been added to the group's Google Doc, having rearranged a few channels for allowing for a better way to manage the rewards and to make things more coherent. The #poll-discussion channel now has been placed in the Tier Rewards category to make it easier for everyone to be able to see their rewards related to their tiers easier. With this channel placed there, anyone upgrading their account will be able to see progress with their rewards, unlocking every tiers' rewards whenever they upgrade ;) I believe this may look a bit more rewarding and will give an easier way to keep things clean for everyone.

As always, anyone with the 5$ Rewards Tier can join the server by linking their Discord account to their Patreon settings! Feel free to check out this feature!

And now for a crazy final topic to close this big post! Planned art and commissions!

With 2018 starting, big plans are going to be started for getting this year as exciting as possible! Now having more time for myself, having a slightly lighter semester with school, I feel I can get more art done at a more decent pace! I will be able to finally start the Goal Celebration drawing people voted for, making it also a big New Year celebration drawing too at the same time to mark the start of a crazy year filled with lots of giant cats and pizzas! The winners of that Goal Celebration drawing's poll were Fia, Lucia, Sabrina, Cecilia and Lani! Lots of cats, if we may say!

For new year, a new commission batch had been reopened on December 31st, having been filled quite fast (fastest time I ever filled a batch I feel...seriously mind blowing though)! 7 slots had opened and will be worked on through this month and next ones, quite excited to do them all if I may say! With the new batch opened, a new type of reward has been planned for anyone joining the Lazycouch server: Early Access Commission Slots. Half of my commission slots and even YCH slots will be having Early Access status, filling them first allowing another batch of slots to be opened for regular access. Seeing how the videos reward wasn't used much among patrons, this new type of reward got discussed and many seemed to agree this option may be a much more useful reward for anyone interested in checking out opportunity to get a commission slot as quick as possible or a YCH slot.

For finishing this little topic, I am proud to announce the Monthly Comics will return for this month, seeing how my workload IRL became much more tolerable. I've been missing doing those comics for a while, considering them some of the biggest challenges I ever started doing since the day I started drawing. The comics will still be themed after the Monthly Themes, for allowing for a good variety of topics to be tried in those! I'm definitely excited to see what we can do for those comics and I would be definitely hyped seeing for maybe making at some point some small page where all comics could be sent on as a full short stories comic book for all to check!

Well that was quite a lot of writing today! Guess I truly had a lot to share today with all the crazy plans I got for 2018! 2017 had been amazing, but I feel we can always do better!
