Dear Patrons,
Almost as soon as I became a sex worker in Boston, where it is fully criminalized, I was struck by the injustice of my chosen profession being illegal and joined the Sex Worker Outreach Project. In 2017, I participated in the first Sex Worker Lobby Day on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., lobbying lawmakers against further criminalization. The passage of the bill FOSTA made continuing to work in the US both more dangerous and less lucrative. After falling in love with Berlin, I relocated both my sex work and activism careers to Germany in 2020, where I enjoy the freedoms offered to sex workers here. I continue to battle the injustices that remain, fighting for the rights of the international sex worker siblinghood.
I thought, while I'm so busy doing this making fewer dance videos, you might feel good in your soul to read about my activism in the press. Here's a list of links.
Enjoy!
Fondly,
Ernestine
